Paldi5: If I were to move to an impoverished place, I would be "rich". It's a matter of geography to a degree. $100,000 in Guatamala probably gets you a lot of stuff.
And probably gets you abducted and Dead too!uh oh

omgamike: Only in the mind of a progressive, left leaning individual. Republicans, IMHO, tend to be Darwinian (e.g. survival of the fittest and the heck with everyone else).

Kind of. The Right-wing is certainly closer to nature in its rationale, whereas the Left is threatened by nature. None more so than today where modern Left-wing politics has abandoned all forms of rationalism.

"Can humanity ever truely get to a point where we are all equal, are all classless, and no-one is considered on a higher ranking than anyone else?"

My answer to that question is another question. Why would you want or for that matter expect everyone in the world to be "equal"?

I am not certain that I would.

But I find it extremely interesting that even in so-called Republics, there is still evidence of class structures, people that consider themselves pseudo-monachy/aristocracy. This I find so incredibly ironic, in countries that profess to be anti-monarchy.

They are monarchy in all but title and blood-line.

The question of "class" also raises its head here, in the CS forums, I have noticed. People have a tendency to sometimes look down on bad spellers, or use their verbal and literary knowledge to appear "superior".

It just another form of a class-type system, in my opinion.
