Of course, the latter two still exist, and sadly probably always will. I believe it is the same with the class system.
There are always going to be those who were born into a more priviliged world and whose family were considered "wealthy". There are those who are what they call "New Money", who to a certain degree replaced old-fashioned aristocracy, even in so-called "Republics".
There are also those who claim to denounce their upbringing, claim to be a "Person of the People" and fight for the common man.
However, ideas of "class" come in different guises; some are looked down upon because their spelling is not great, or their fashion sense is considered dubious, or their accent is not cut-glass.
Can humanity ever truely get to a point where we are all equal, are all classless, and no-one is considered on a higher ranking than anyone else?
Who judges others in this capacity more? Men or women? Or are they both equally judgemental?
I fear there will always be "Snobs"; whether they be literary, financial or otherwise.
