Most of us have tips for fixing things e.g stains on clothing or furniture! or car sickness etc.,
Care to share what you know with the rest of us!
This could prove rather useful.
Keep it clean I know excuse the pun!

My tip is on how to stop car sickness!
Put a newspaper under the feet of the person affected!

Very hot shower kills the sting if you can stand the initial pain which is only seconds.

Grapefruit is great for cleaning the bath! just chop it in half and use it like a sponge! Clean results!!
Don't use washing up liquid in or on your car! Its an abrassive and damages the paintwork! professor

Sailfree: Don't use washing up liquid in or on your car! Its an abrassive and damages the paintwork!

Drop a denture cleansing tablet in to a thermos,add hot water and leave for about 20-30 mins,rinse out thoroughly,hey presto you have a sparkling clean thermos.


To remove chewing gum from clothing or the bottom of your shoes, keep rubbing an ice-cube over the gum until the gum is very hard,you should then be able to pick/scrape the gum off easily,repeat if neccessary.

The ice cube also works if you've moved a piece of furniture and its left the 'foot' indents .......... just rub the ice cube onto it, and when dampness has dried, your carpet pile will rise again

To keep white wicker from yellowing, scrub with soft water using a stiff brush then let it stand in the sunlight to dry.

To remove tea stains from your china mugs, cups!

Cheap bleach and hot water vamoose in moments!

Brand new cups again, remember to rince in cold water not hot.

Never wash your hands in hot or warm water!

Always cold water then no lingering smell!

Similar honey, told to put the item in the freezer and then just peel off the chewing gum!
