An English professor wrote the words "a woman without her man is nothing" on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

Most of the males in class wrote "A woman, without her man, is nothing". All the female students wrote "A woman: without her, man is nothing".

Punctuation is powerful.

Use it wisely.

Conorco: I never oblige when people tell me what I "need" to do. I always leave that decision to my goodself.

By the way, did you mean to say "argue the possible and highly likely flaws in your crude, negative expression."?

Yes I most definitely did. Solely based on reading your posts of course I think it was a fairly accurate definition. grin

So then aside from your grammatical error, you really need to read the post again, this time maybe with an open mind (if possible), if you do I'm sure you'l understand my point. grin

Conorco: Someone has lots of issues, don't they.

I'm not aware of ever backtracking here or of having paid an insincere compliment, that you would think that points to you being a very bitter person (in all probability a man hater). You need to address that my dear.
You insulted my little dog . She didn't say anything bad or derogatory to you to warrent that ! You must be a dog hater then and that makes you the one with issues. Don't feel to bad about that she doesn't like you either .

I don't recall you apologising for that ! On the subject of not understanding or not being a person, I don't know why that would give you the right to insuly any one or any thing . If you just thought you could get away with it or nothing would be done , then that just makes you a bully . I have said before that I do not care what you say about me , but my little dog is not so forgiving . Good thing you can't hear the things she says about you .
