Donald Trump totally loves public attention and that's what his rumors about becoming President are all about. Nothing other than publicity. Even in the remote chance that he does run for the Presidency, he does not stand a chance.

I think if you were able to continue living in America throughout George W's 8 years then surely you can put up with anyone being president of America because I am sure no one could possibly do a worse job than him. I am not saying Trump will be much better, all I am saying is that once you have had a clown for a president surely anything after that is an improvement

drbombay: I understand your point(well-taken) but methinks can it be any worse(possibly) than what we have now(who knows) as I do not have much faith in any politician unfortunately but maybe someone like Warren Buffet(he seems down to earth & realistic)
He's a better man than Trump. Perhaps maybe even as good as Ford had circumstances and the times been different. Still, there's that innovative, creative spirit lacking, there still remains the difference between being very good and being brilliant with someone like Buffet - and I think brilliant is what you need and you've not had brilliant since the days of Jefferson.
I must say I don't envy you in the States, I wouldn't have a clue who to vote for despite how it may sound, lol.

Actually when Bush won his second term I looked up the Canada web site the very next day... me and over 300,000 other people...was the most hits the site had in one day...

I think it's time someone who has no political background got in. Who knows, he may be what this country needs.
As for Obummer, he should have produced a birth certificate back when people first started wondering if he was actually born in the US
As the president said today, there are way to many really serious issues to address and it's not worth focusing on a birth certificate.
Immediately after the press conference he headed to Chicago to do an Oprah show then to New York for a campaign fund raiser.
