drbombay: I understand your point(well-taken) but methinks can it be any worse(possibly) than what we have now(who knows) as I do not have much faith in any politician unfortunately but maybe someone like Warren Buffet(he seems down to earth & realistic)

If the election of someone you don't like makes you want to leave the country, get out now. Property values in places like Irealand and Greece are very low and if you wait until 2012, you could lose an opportunity to do it affordably.

And Obama is going down and I doubt Obamaphiles would like anyone else the GOP would put up any more than they like Trump or Palin. As soon as someone else takes the lead in the GOP race, they'll be the target of the liberal smear machine. It doesn't really matter who it is, so keep in mind that there's no time like the present for getting out.

sasyecats: Can't imagine someone worse than Bush...

Actually when Bush won his second term I looked up the Canada web site the very next day... me and over 300,000 other people...was the most hits the site had in one day...Due to money and custody it just isn't an option at the moment.

Well hopefully your world has improved in the past 2 years and you and the 300,000 can afford to take the trip. Remember gas prices will be $6-7 dollars by then. Sorry bouquet

Wouldn't bother me to show ya. It really wouldn't. However, I might add that I'm not running for president, so I doubt it would be as exciting. yawn bouquet

zoranova: IF Trump would get elected (how many divorces, AND BANKRUPTCIES did He have???, just for a start), rich would get richer and middle class would likely disappear....
I am sorry I really don't understand this post blues I am not saying I would or would not vote for trump but divorces and bankruptcies? Which president have we had with a clean past? After all we did elect a draft dodger for president and I must say that is not a comforting thought. First sign of trouble and "poof" dunno Presidents are only human uh oh And there is no middle class anymore to disappear. blues

The U.S. wanted to increase their buissness in Sugar Cain as well as gain prime military position in Pearl harbor. In 1893 Queen Liluokalone, who wanted to take control from the sugar cane farmers, was overthrown and the Republic of Hawaii was born. Hawaii was anexed in 1898 and became a U.S. territory in 1900 and became officially became a state in 1959.

In response to: My questions are how many would vote for him and would he make a good president? Would he be for the little people(the poor and middle class)or would he be for the fat cats like him? Does he have a right to sort of demand Barak Obama's birth certificate?

"A Rasmussen Reports poll released Thursday shows Trump leading the wide-open field of potential GOP 2012 contenders with 19 per cent support, two percentage points ahead of former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and three in front of former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee."

Me too.Can you imagine him talking to other important leaders of other countries??

"you're fired.." just isn't going to fly...come on, this guy tried to copy write it... Canada is lookin' real good..

I imagine that Trump being decisive and showing you are in charge when you are would be a strange thing indeed considering the year and a half of apologies, waffling and stalling in the face of Generals he has himself appointed to study problems and near grovelling to the world you have had to witness.

If I remember right the total increase of immigration from the US that year was something like five thousand and the reverse was twenty or something like that. More going out than in.

Raynew1959: No one took Ronald Reagan serious when he announced his bid for the presidency and he was elected in.

I think it's time someone who has no political background got in. Who knows, he may be what this country needs.

As for Obummer, he should have produced a birth certificate back when people first started wondering if he was actually born in the US

Add President Catrter's lanslide nomination. I thought Trump was intelligent and concerned with the economy, he stated, he would first start bringing the troops home and that their is no reason for us to have troops everywhere.. ... But what he did with his own money trying to force proof of a birth certificate, hoping not to find one[not that I am saying Obama was right], he has that right as a fellow citizen but he was doing so to oust Obama out of his Presindency as a non citizen cannot be a president. It was sly and sneaky to do it the way he did . For once I think Obama 's answer to him was great, calling any canival barker that is just trying to start trouble , and that we have more important things to do, was a pretty cool way of saying what Trump is. Now I would not trust Trump after all that. If he has that much money than he might or could just buy his Presidency. That was a sly move and then Trump called Obama on his speech and put in a few insults to the President, That is or was just not right or professional.Trump is sly as fox. His main concern is to aquire things and money . Why would he care for the lower class? and any seniors or unemployment. He himself says he does not work. His kids run his hotels. He wants that presidency bad.Whatever he says I do not trust him after this last move for a birth certificat. What else does he have up his sleeve?

I don't believe it cost Trump a bloody dime. Cost Obama a couple million in lawyer fees to keep the Liberal birthers off his tail prior to the election though.

Actually the reason Obama spent all that money preventing clinton and the other Liberals from seeing the long form was to portray them as foolish. He then kept it up and transferred blame onto republicans who distanced themselves as far as possible from the birthers. Obama could easily have put this to bed with Clinton however, found it a great way to tie Republicans with nut cases like the birthers.

Trump put his feet to the fire and pretty much forced him to produce it. Something nobody else, not Clinton, not court cases, not all the nut cases in the country were able to do. And thus, removed a key strategy from obama's re election campaign - to portray the oppposition as birthers.

hollyberries: Whatever he says I do not trust him after this last move for a birth certificat. What else does he have up his sleeve?

He forced the President of the US to produce something he was quite contrary about producing for two and a half years. And to boot, he did it in person, not just have it shown by his press agent.

Trump made Obama piss his pants and that is what the US needs these days. Somebody in charge, not an apologetic stooge who takes months to make a decision.
