In Ohio you can only be fired on the spot for three reasons----Stealing, Insubordination( not doing what you are told to do) and being fired without warning notices that you are not performing your job. Sounds like Florida is all screwed up, but why are these losses of jobs the same in each state? These issues and differences in each state are never brought up in the government and it should be. Maybe unemployment would decrease.
CNN is the only network, worldwide and who gets the news first. It was surprising that at 11:19P.M. election night, they projected Pres. Obama the winner whereas all the other stations were still questioning the projection of states even after CNN projected Pres to win. That is something to be proud of that we had such a fast return on our votes and the sheer fact of the freedom to vote and a peaceful result by the people, and the two candidates. Why cannot people who have this type of freedom appreciate this sheer fact and appreciate what some other countries only dream of. Thanks for your comment,but so many people voted early, at least in our state and then there were the absentee ballots that were free to be counted way before election day. How do they do it? Not sure, but it was a remarkable thing to witness and will be in history books for my grandchildren and their children to learn.
It's sad that the election is over and still all you people are still knocking down and debating as if you cannot accept that we voted and we voted to keep the same president for four more years by electoral and popular vote. And yes it takes more than 8 yrs. to accomplish what all has to be done. And NO , Ohio is not a rich state. I live here. Unemployment is down because so many refuse to work, and would not accept a lower paying job and the rise in disabilty is up. There are jobs. People don't want to work under their own decisions. A health plan would be in action if Hillary Clinton was not stopped on her mission in the '90's, because she was accused of acting as if she was the pres., so we lost any kind of health care we could have had 15 yrs. ago?
I was shocked and proud as how fast the tallying of votes came about and how precise the out come was given to the world.I don't see too many Americans acknowledging this. We should be proud of this election and the peaceful right to vote no matter who won. If Romney would have won it would have been the super rich leading the super rich, and let's not forget the expense saved of moving the Pres. out and Romney into the White House and the at least 6 months to teach Romney how to act like a president and teaching him how the congress works, since he is only a governor and has no experience in the Congressional House. The voters (popular vote) showed who wanted the next president to be and that is a right we have: To decide and vote. Be thankful and appreciate our freedom. Why always the naysayers , but those same people do not appreciate our freedoms and the governing of it and so little faith.We sleep in peace as someone else has the reins and we do not need to know everything as it is a small world, just as we did not know the plan for getting Bin Laden.We slept in peace. I am always being sent to another place , too. I found that computers are not a sure thing. My parents died. We sold their house. That buyer went into forclosure and it was listed for $14,000.00. That was not true, but property records showed my dad still was the owner and gave his would be age (88) and he was still living at the house! It was bought again for $65,000.00.

I let my two kids fall off the bed each at their infant years.I left the room for a minute never thinking they would roll over that far. I went nuts,but they were fine. Just felt so guilty, and I bet your girlfriend does,too, if it was accidental. I think a lot of new mothers have done this. My kids turned out educated and well off, so no damage there.
Just watched the closing ceremonies of the Olympics and again the UK has out done itself with a great and spectcular job of hosting a huge event .Seriously everything was handled and presented in such a outstanding way . You trully did it London! Congratulations. Makes one think that all the world is at peace and is one watching these Olympics and the the opening and closing ceremonies.

The dog escaped and walked hundreds of miles to it's owners. I just wondered why the Family of this soldier took the dog to the funeral?

Someone poisened my last Cocker Spaniel. I had left my number at the pound if a cocker was to come in. A woman called me and said she was told I was looking for a Cocker Spaniel and had to get rid of hers because her sister was old and could not take care of it. She also gave me $100.00 to have it groomed and for shots. Dropped it off and left before I could ask anything. The dog had to be truly abused. He is deaf. We have come a long way, but he had not been groomed in ages and his ears were covered with matted hair. He did not know his name and was not housebroken ,is old and hunches down when one gets near him. I think maybe he was always in a cage. He has to know where I am at all the time and is at my feet. Maybe he thinks I will leave him. He does not like to walk on grass and has some health problems. She just paid me for her guilt. I wish I had her number, but he is improving and now knows he belongs here and can enjoy his home and can go outside if he wants. People are cruel. After my dad died, my other dog would search my parents house everytime I took him over there. He would go to each room and the basement and finally go upstairs and lay on my dad's bed 'till it was time to leave. My neices were there once with me and they were looking for my dog and could not believe that I told then to look on on grandpa's bed.Him and my Dad were buddies.Dogs just know, I guess. My Uncle worked as an engineer for Nasa. I do definately think we did. What amazed me was that a picture of the earth was shown from there and if you were watching you were watching your Home planet /selves. My grand mother was 72. She died a little after that landing. She spoke broken english. She noticed before it was noticible that the climates were changing and her TV was always going into a fuzz picture. In all her wisdom she said. "Aut,[meaning, Well,] ever since they landed on the moon everything is changing". Back in 1969, I often wondered how she thought of it and now that atomsphere is home for so many space centers and when we broke through the/our atmosphere the weather was changing in all seasons.Now global meltdown,warming, glaciers are melting and all the floding and earthguakes, you have to wonder , how she thought that out and yes it had started this atmospheric mess, we live in. But we do have cable TV.

Except the plan wasinmovennt at a high speed. You cannot compare a movig object to a stablele one. The moving speed of the jets played a big part in the aftermath.You are ecxcluding movement and the severe temperature of the fires Nope ,it would not be the same pinpoint appliacation of the force of a MOVING, 25,000. pounds of bursting fuel containment the plane had. That comparison is mute and not even close to the same type of explosion. Having said that you can't knock one of the all time best movies ever made "The Wizard of Oz". A big movie critic a few years ago decided to do a review on the Wizard as though it was a new release and concluded it to be a "Perfect movie which can't be improved even with all of todays technology."

Bought my grandaughters 102 Dalmations as a surprise, when it was time to watch the movie they chose Captain January.It was later missing or borrowed forever from them. Oz was a huge prduction, I agree. The most highly rated child movies had to be ET. The movies down the bambabi, snow white and Cinderella. The newer ones beauty andthe beast. Lord f the rings of the Lords and Captain Hook: survey taken by my 5 granaughters , but do agree on ET. I do know what you mean by the Wizard. Just it was no justice to Shirley Temple and I am sticken to it.. Even as a child, as they aired it once a year, I did not lke it. , and no way does Dorthty look like a child.Take the flying monkies out,1 oone way to improve it.
