Cincy: Great comment. All presidents have Press Secretaries, who writes their speeches . True fact, for years. Every president has tele-prompters in case at any given time as to go blank and we have all done that, but not in front of millions.Busch could read them. At many times Obama failed to. Busch's speeches were not bad, but his word pronunciation that he would throw in, were very comical. I would rather listen to him than Obama's Uh's and Uh's and UH's. You fast lose interest as if he does know not what to say and says it so mundane and slowly, you soon flip the station. At least Busch was comical at points when unexpected and did not mind the jabs on his mistakes. Took it quit well, but with grandeuer.

I admire both Trump and Palin. The President does not earn much. Senators make more than the Presindent, so Trump would not be missing a little $250,000.00 @ year. Senators make $345,000.00 @ year.[give or take] All wealthy people need to donate to charities not necessarily wanting to, as for a tax exemption. Sometimes their charity is mandatory for their own benefit and he certainly does not need that paycheck at all, but does need tax exemptions. He would appreciate the benefits though of living in the White House. It certainly would be an interesting match, these two people, of such high character and intelligence, to observe. Engand has a Prime Minister to govern the matters of state. The Royal Family has nothing to do with desisions of their contry being made, unless the Queen, her majesty objects such as to having a funeral for Diana. She then was advised that the people were reacting in a dissappointing manner and so after many days had passed, she did offer her condolences in a public showing for her sujects..The Royals do nothing but live off of the people and do charity showings.

I do agree with Serene, something of this magnitude as a wedding takes away our own problems for a short time.It is a wonderful fairy tale to be shown but then we all return to our own lives. I just wonder at what expence does this cost the country's populaton money wise and do they approve?
Never has anyone seen a more secluded ,private ceremony as Chelsea Clinton's wedding. She accomplished a privacy no one has ever done before. On TV today, they brought up the subject of needing a wedding planner, maybe they should confer with Ms. Clinton.If this is a large fanfare the country's people will view it by the thousands as did Lady Di's wedding and seemed to want the fanfare.There is where the people of that country shows their support of having the Royals still. As far as the ring goes , what is the point? Pince William owns it, and it is a tribute to his mother. Where else should it be?

All said and done, This country will always have a president who can not accomplish much in 8 years let alone 4. It is ridiculas to "Change horses in the middle of a a stream" as my father used to say.So any president who is is making great stride has to laeve in 8 years and history and failures repeats itself. The electorial voting process is now ridiculas as our Fore Fathers had thought to be the way. The Constitution should be rewritten to a point,to match the changes of prest time. I would think each person's vote should be tallied in a singularly way. We might have a true count of YEAS and NAYS. As we continue as always the above mentioned will never bring about a true victorious internal government. Even the two parties might or should be abolished as it only produces dividing a nation not as one. Republican, Demorcrat, what's the point? If so united in years to come those two patys' might just be past history and our children's children's children would probably look and laugh at as how this country was actually goverened by those all above mentioned meams and ways,just as we have laughed at some of the people's stupidities decades and decades long ago.

Hi Tish, Thanks for responding . I always thought that it would have to cost the country a large amount to keep The royals in being.But a report on maybe the history channel asked people on the street if they would want to keep the royals or not. One man had narrowed it down and said it only costs a citizen about 80 or so cents a day and why not keep the history going.He was for it. I do not know what that breaks down to in your money, but thanks for the input. It was on TV all day yesterday. Holly

It's her words that are important; voice or not, the crowds love it.

If such a thing as her being elected happens, they will prep her as everyone before her,and she will learn.She will not have to be prepped on her gesture and smiles as Obama did. I cannot listen to Obama speak as every other word is Uh, this, Uh, that..He does not speak fluently or forcefully,which is needed to command attenton seriously. Just the same he does not attract personality. Does anyone notice that not too many call him Preident Obama? in the news or privately. Wonder pchycologically, what that means. Just the other day a pol was out there and more than half answered negatively towards him.

Her accomplishments speak for itself in Alaska. Every citizen recieves $1,000.00 @ year for living there,and the state is in the black. When she was in office and now ,also. and Anyone who lives there loves it there.
Obama has never accomplised as much as she has and what will he go down in history for doing as President? Only being the first black president. Than also the only president that has had the highest number of vacations taken in office, compared to any other president. All else is downhill from here as he has shown no change, but his number of vacations on our millions of tax dollars. His wife is the poorest of show as being the First Lady. She wanting to be called michelle shows what "class" is not.She has no agenda as to contributing to any one special task. Did she not know all other First ladies did and was expected to do the same as some of the great first ladies did for worhty causes.
How can any one seriously think they know better and put down these people as you have not succeeded to their potential. Shudder at the thought??? What have any one of us done as to Palins , Clinton's extent of leadership that we would, could and not have done? Look at where you are at. Typing on an website. We are supporting a whole family with Obama and in the beginning they had to have desighner wardrobes, first thing on Michelle's list. What actually has been done for us. Those first stimulus, $300.00 checks sent out to us were taken from the yearly raises Senior's social security checks, each $25.00. from senoirs!!! Obama , made a point of change. He never said good or bad change, and now we know it was neither but for his and his families own entertainment. He was to go to Aphganistan, that trip was quickly stopped by others in office due to the expense, but millions were already spent prepping Air Force One for a two week time period. So the 12 chefs and the 10 hair/makeup people and the teleprpromters and 10 speechwriters and ladies to dress Michelle must have been dissapointed. Either, Palin and/or Clintons are far beyond our realm of education, expeirience, progress and prodution. Who are we to judge if we can not do a job as they.

Two is always better than one. I know a lot of women who say they would rather be alone, but either they never had a great relationship with another or are lying. In the end no one wants someone around who they are not intament with and no one can take the place of that one, as in friends or relatives.My aunt lost her husband at the age of 47, she never married again and sat in her house alone and died,at 86 naturally alone.She did have her chance,but her daughter did not want her mother to remarry.
Sad.

I agree but, would it not be possible for her to be running against Hilary Clinton. It is a proven fact that women can acheive more things at the same time and make progress. Women are better at muti tasking. You have to admit we are in the dark ages as there are woman rulers all over the world. Take Margaret Thatcher. Now one was just voted in, in a eastern country.[can't remember which country] last week. It is the men who are against a women in office and will put down a woman and demean her for anything if she is running for office. Not caring if she has a good chance of sucsess and improvement of our countries problems are solved or not. Then you complain because no one is solving anything. But the Clintons are two people who in their ways of great intelligence can and could do something positive. Forget any scandel and mistress'. All presidents had them and Pres.Taft had five. Clinton left office with the budget in the black which every one forgets.Hillary was to tackle a health program in '94 but was shot down by the government as trying to act like a president. We would have had a health plan by now if they had let her go for it.That only proves thatthe government does not want a health plan and pay for one.Don't You think?? 16 year s laterand no one really cares. Obama put one out there just to say he did. Most politicians have not even read it,or want to. If any one find faults with either, Palin or Hillary you then have to admit, they are where they are because of their knowlege, wisdom anfd focus. They are two very powerful women who gets things done.

We are the much less just sitting here playing computor talk.

What would be so bad as trying a woman President as it could be no worse as some Presidents who are known for doing nothing.

time4fun4u, So if you don't mind, what is sensible eating and excersize mean for you. Calories and fat containg foods and label and microwave foods all seem to have conflicting faults and truth's.Please enlighten. I have always been able to eat wahtever I wanted , but a call bladder surgery has left me with more simpler food wants. I don't get it. Please do tell.Thanks,
