Watching the movie "Social Network" and how the founder of Facebook used all those people to become a billionaire, I would not rather use Facebook so he can get richer. He just used people and their money or he would not have gotten it off the ground. Seriously though, many people have been hurt or destroyed just by reading about or someone else reading information on themselves.One lady lost her job. There was a documentary on this and these people tried to sue, but the computer is under the "Freedom of Speech" amendment, which they are trying to change in Congress.I hope it does go down. Too much nonsense and meanfull messages effects people. People writing [12,0000 @ minute] something everyday is just silly and locking others out, Just nonsense. Another thing that was pointed out, there are more Facebook users in the Middle East than in the USA.(20/20/cnbc)
My aunt passed away in the 70's. 8 years later we had a terrible tornado here and her widow husband had severe damage to his car,due to hail. The insurance adjuster came to the door and she was a 50, attractive woman and never been married. About a year later they were married and have been for 23years. Never know what's around the corner and how you might meet someone in a blink of an eye.She never had kids, but was close to her nieces and my uncle had/has sons.They are now granparents.
Keep safe Monte. We deal with tornados here and my daughter had a 80 ft. tree fall on her house. Hit the family room and all plaster walls were cracked , hardwood floors were raised up. You were right. An act of God.The city did pick up the tree though. 149 rings counted in the trunk --149 years old. They stayed in a hotel room for 6 months with the three kids.

My dad would always make us watch these things on TV[What choice did we have with just 3 stations?] He would say you will be reading about this in school someday. They did say this one started in Africa, tropical heat, is so huge[the size of Europe and long lasting that it will be know as historical and be studied by all students and scholars in weather. Just unbelievable.
It seems to me that across the states there is friendly people and private people and not so friendly. When I check out I try to do the same , but here, people are in a tough economy a tend to ignore everyone.I like to talk to the toddlers in shopping carts and try to make them smile or talk, but in these times their parents get suspicious as maybe I might nab them . Sometimes it just doesn't work to be friendly, but I commend you on your attitude and shraing your story. A true gentlemen.
If he is your friend, keep an eye on him. I have had friends at various times , that were not always felling well. One, stomach ulcers. My mom, feeling tired . Two friends losing weight. One , sinus infections. All these died within 6 months with cancer misdiagnosed. Not to alarm you ,but try yo get him to talk. Have fun, picken up babes?
It does happen. Nver know when or with whom , but if you are one of the lucky ones, it turns into an unconditional love you think alike ad are willing to give in to disagreements and time you give up what you want to do or the other one wants to do. It's gving and wanting to make that person happy and not win a point or disagreement are bestfriends as time goes by you begin one in thought and words and ideas and giving. Then you realize not all people find a gift like that and you realize how very lucky you are, and savor it and are thankful everyday for it, that one person who you will always be with even if you are seperated by some unforseen parting.Good luck.
She is such a great actress , I think that will go down in history. She was on a show each night this week talking of that movie. I would like to see it and I bet she will run with an oscar for it.Maybe the movie ill take all the oscars. I always refer her a the Walmart baby Star as in that movie where she stayed in a Walmart store and she had a baby in the store. She is now pregnant with her seciond child.Great actress but looks a little truly sad.
I feel sorry for you guys that are not use to it. It usually snows here and then again. Plowing your driveway is foremost on your mind everyday. Back off a little. If you say you want to talk, talk is a word no man wants to here until you are committed , or not. Just don't push. Don't answer his every phone call. Back off and he will start wondering if he is losing you. I know it is hard, but it usually works. Keep busy with work or friends and don't jump everytime he feels like being with you. Valentine's day was named after Saint Valentine, not sure of the story behind it. But working in retail it is a holiday that, here, is losing interest and more people tend to downplay it. Especially men. Most men buy because thet have to. Then there are others that go overboared. But with this economy , Roses are way over $80.00 @ dozen. I just am satisfied to be taken to a restrurant ,not crowded and a card or small gift , after working so many hours, that week..
Buy a greeting card just a note kind and spell it out and don't sighn your name. She might think it's from you, but write differantly. They have been going together too long for her not to know.

I have found on forclosure listings , a man will write to you and say he his selling his Family home and wants someone to take good care of it. Is giving an oppurtunity to rent to buy. He asks for $500.00 dollars , and will send you the keys to "His" house. I knew the house not far from me and it was for sale by a realator and people were living in it. The man had written me that after five years he would sell it at a very reasonable price. He was transferred suddenly to the UK. Who would just send their house keys to somebody? Guess if you fell for it, you just were out the money.He also had the title of Reverand.Be careful searching for forclosures as many people do to flip them and here there are so many.Thanks for your warning and Happy New Year!

Those were god times. Gas was 25 cents a gallon.We would hang out at the newest McDonalds. every would pitc in a quater and we would ride around all night. Walking home from a football game and stopping at the " Pizza House" . Everyone was there and if no room we all sat on the grass. We all had transitor radios tuned in to that best radio station. [I don'think my kids know what that is]? My dad bought a Chevy Impala 1959. The tail lights had the big fins looking like Chinese eyes. He paid $1995.00 for it and I was young and thought he meant $19.95!!My older brother would imatate and use his air giutar and sing "Duke of Earl" over and over again. My favorite was Petulia Clark, "Downtown". Good times and kids,today do not know what they were missing.

You just descibed a perfect love. I had that once , but he passed away. One thing though,out of the blue at home , he would ask me to dance. I needed a new car mine was dying fast. For at least 5 years I would say I am getting a brand new black BMW before I turned fifty, said it at work said it to friends and spoke it.I did get it , not a BMW but a new Toyota with 10 miles on it, and a great deal.

As I stated before.: How then do you suppose Obama got in ? He by far has no looks, no smile, no style, no charisma, no presense of state. He does not enunciate his words between the Uhs and the Uhs , and the Uhs, How do you suppose that happened? One would supopose this is just a target because she is a women, but most definately Far more educated than you or I. She has had a few children and one 3 months before the campaign for Vice President. She smiles.She is makes herself attractive to attract as most people do, but not Obama. Just as Michelle,who had a make over with her hair and her looks and we paid for her assiatants and hair dressers as also her girls do. Michelle has learned to enjoy expenesive, has grown to love designer clothes and $900.00 Nike's,and does nothing for our country. Palins is on top of her every day life while keeping her family together and is in her forty's. She is focused. She has succeeded in a 30 year marriage. She succeeded in governing her state and it has no deficit. As far as her dealing with other countries she will comand respect and give it and she will speak and enunciate her words and her voice will be trained, will have protocal while Obama has not improved on anything of that character or in appearance representing this country as it should be, while in office, as of yet. She is a doer. She has the enthusiasm and shows it. You never notice Obama and I cannot listen to his speeches with every other word is uh, uh,. It has not and never will command attention to anyone seriously. So you have to find fault with a woman. Can you claim all she has done in your life. Most of us could not make a marriage work let alone accomplish all she has done.
Then how did Obama become president? He his not a looker at all. No class, no style, no smile,he sure did not get there on his looks.Or do you just judge women?
First dates, I read should be a place where you get to know each other. Dining out or walking and getting coffie somewhere. Meet there and then make it short ,but plan the next date. Never go to the show ,only if you don't like the person. I bet you even paid for the tickets. You should have asked her out and took her where you wanted to go.
