this year's re-election had some noteworthy issues.i am curious about how they influenced your vote,or whether certain issues were more or less important to you after 4 yrs.
you can pick any or all numbers and comment freely. i focused on obama's campaign primarily because history has shown most presidents serve 2 terms.(should it take 8 yrs? to accomplish those campaign promises-therefore term should be changed to 8yrs.) it is worth asking-was your vote the same as 4yrs. ago?
To the OP. I am a little confused on the format. you ask a global question than on each answer it is also a question....For instance if I was to check the one that says : "did you feel his birth certificate was an issue?" If I check that it is like I am asking the question myself..maybe you could explain a bit more. thanks.

Was meant to say made to say " you made a global statement" and then each answer is as if the question is asked..so if I click one, how is it perceived?

thanks niko..to clear this up,i specified those who actually voted.they would be u.s. citizens. but feel free to comment irregardless of whether you voted. the poll is meant to be thought provoking.do you feel your representatives should have longer or shorter terms in office,or do you feel your candidates campaigns get side tracked with personal attacks on their character instead of their knowledge and experience.
we would love to know how other countries experience this-their hopes and outcomes.
if you pick a "did you" question..that would imply you did.
for example:did you see his movie(checked it)that would mean to me you did watch his movie before you voted for him. if you wish to explain whether it helped you vote for him that would be interesting

Your post is confusing. A side comment, FYI--"irregardless" has been used so much that it is now in general circulation. It means the same thing as "regardless". It is actually still considered to be incorrect, as "enthused" (enthusiastic) and "could care less" (couldn't care less) are both examples of this 'lazy English'. One must remember to facilitate language usage when attempting to write succinctly. I voted for Obama because he measured up, in the final analysis, and yes, I spent many, many hours researching all aspects of this years' voting, candidates, and measures. I am happy with both national and local results. Thanks for writing.

You just illustrated my (and others') point(s) clearly. If you have to explain, then the criteria is foggy. Perhaps re-write your thread? Just a suggestion. . .
It's sad that the election is over and still all you people are still knocking down and debating as if you cannot accept that we voted and we voted to keep the same president for four more years by electoral and popular vote. And yes it takes more than 8 yrs. to accomplish what all has to be done. And NO , Ohio is not a rich state. I live here. Unemployment is down because so many refuse to work, and would not accept a lower paying job and the rise in disabilty is up. There are jobs. People don't want to work under their own decisions. A health plan would be in action if Hillary Clinton was not stopped on her mission in the '90's, because she was accused of acting as if she was the pres., so we lost any kind of health care we could have had 15 yrs. ago?
I was shocked and proud as how fast the tallying of votes came about and how precise the out come was given to the world.I don't see too many Americans acknowledging this. We should be proud of this election and the peaceful right to vote no matter who won. If Romney would have won it would have been the super rich leading the super rich, and let's not forget the expense saved of moving the Pres. out and Romney into the White House and the at least 6 months to teach Romney how to act like a president and teaching him how the congress works, since he is only a governor and has no experience in the Congressional House. The voters (popular vote) showed who wanted the next president to be and that is a right we have: To decide and vote. Be thankful and appreciate our freedom. Why always the naysayers , but those same people do not appreciate our freedoms and the governing of it and so little faith. We sleep in peace as someone else has the reins and we do not need to know everything as it is a small world, just as we did not know the plan for getting Bin Laden. We slept in peace. That is our United States. Proud to be an American and thanks to the well wishers from other countries. God bless.

It's going to take much longer than 8 years to undo the economic mess left behind from the past Republican administration and the trail of destruction from the renegade banks, who by the way, still continue on their merry, irresponsible ways, happy to lead other countries down the gurgler. JMO
Well, if it's true that you live in France, I guess it can be said that your preference is to live in a different culture and political environment. Not sure how you feel the need to criticise President Obama when you are not in even there to contribute in any constructive way. I wonder how many knockers on here actually bothered to go vote.

Very astute.

Don't worry, I'm an equal opportunity criticizer. I consider both US parties (and the entire political system for that matter) to be totally and irredeemably corrupt, and controlled by the same group of globalist financiers and bankers.
And the most constructive contribution anyone can make is to try to help people wake up to that situation. Conversely, the most destructive thing anyone can do is to support the delusion.

Leanybean: OMG. Then you applaud treason, because that is what Obama achieved when he signed the NDAA on 31 December 2011 while everyone else was partying.
Needless to say, I did not vote for Obama. He's a liar and numerous other adjectives that come to mind.
Treason, what treason??? You talk of voting in the Election, though you appear to be English, lay of the wacky backy lady

The Global Agenda was set in motion 4 years ago, and this is why Obama is still in office. The UN and the eugenicists have waited too long for this opportunity to proceed and they ain't going to drop the ball now while they have the momentum. It wouldn't have mattered who was running against Obama, they weren't getting in
mtncabingirl: his heritage is specifically african american which is why he is the unique candidate. whether it factored into one's vote deserves a respectful reply.i appreciate that any minority obtaining presidency is what we claim to uphold as americans:freedom and equality-i believe that is his point as well.
you are not actually discussing the poll,or politics.please void your comment.i can not appreciate your contribution if it is not valid participation and you are discouraging responders from commenting...or create your own poll.

I didn't re-elect/elect either one.I don't trust political figures caue all they know how to do is make promises they know all to well they never have/had any intention of keeping. They're very good actors when it comes to who they really care about. It's big corporations who are they're main contributors to which they all cater to.

Dear Mtncabingirl , I have to admit that the above was one of the most diplamatic and sensable replies to a crass and uncalled for response I have whitnessed on here . You have just been elevated to the status of " intelegend and thoughtfull " in my register . I will look forward to more of your forums as you are not following an agenda and do not like to wallow in the muck that seems to permiate this site . We may disagree but at least we can respect each others opinion . May we be so blessed as to have more like you here .
