Rumyet: What desision would u make ,to prevent conspiracy and more blood and anger.
or u would have another option.
I think I'd bury him in the basement of the mosque that is to be built near ground zero. A fitting end to a terrorist with a demented vision who never the less changed the world. The twin towers will be restored but bin Laden has passed the three day expiration date with no signs of life. Time to put terror in its grave and seek a new path.

it was am Islamic centre at least three blocks from ground zero when are people going to wake up from propoganda of right wing thinking JMHO
Go to option # 8 and place the body four feet from the water, ( at the amazon river ) pull out the cell phone, login to you tube and wait for the gators to show up.

I despise those who attribute opposition to that "mosque" as right wing. There are plenty of democrat "left wingers" who think it's demeaning to allow it to be built as well. Grow up.
mustbnutz: I think the Navy did it right...except after they washed him they should have covered his body with sliced bacon instead of a white sheet....
woodstock1: hypothetical- it was not bin laden.........just a tall arab who was murdered......unarmed.
As tall as he was, I wonder was ever good at basketball? When I was little one of my dreams was to be TALL just for that reason. But I stopped growing at 5' 10" so I just had to get over it and just deal with it.

Rumyet: good post.but it would be dangerous to return him to his family coz his tomb would be visited by many muslims as a hero making them adore a terrorist.
How would it be anymore dangerous then when Saddam and his sons were killed?
Paldi5: Obama is running for a 2nd term so he called the seals and instructed them to go and take out OBL now, rather than wait until after the election in 2012?
Obama is like a terrorist because he takes credit for killing Osama? What would George Bush do differently? Not take credit?
Remain confused and believe all that crap you read about in the news.
The whole thing of him announing running for a 2nd term smells pretty darn fishy to me.Then all of a sudden Bin Laden is killed and his body thrown overboard at sea.
Where's the proof that Bin Laden is even dead? Our own govenernment talks about how brave they are but aren't brave enough to provide proof.WE're supposed to just bite the bullet and just take their word for things after all the wheelings and dealings they've done.Oh please.
Pics of Saddam and his sons were palasterd all over the internet when they were captured and hung.

The idea of building a "terrorist magnet" for all wannabe terrorists to pay homage to OBL may actually be a good thing. We could monitor the place, take pictures, blow it up now and then, and rebuild it to do it again!

A trial would cost thousands, last for months or probably years with all the evidence to show, and would be a huge security risk. And would anyone here like to be a member of the Jury with constant 24 hour security during the duration for the juror and the juror's family and hope, then probably a change of identity and home location for each juror too.

OK I thought the same thing, however the President has offered Congress access to the photos. There are 100 senators and 435 members of the House. They won't be fooled.

Why won't they provide proof to the people who put them into office?

How are the politicans anymore special over us?
I'd like for my government to explain that.
Your vote makes them your representative. You are giving them your trust by your vote.

While Obama has ordered that photos of bin Laden's body be kept from public view, members of the House and Senate Intelligence and Armed Services committees have been making appointments at CIA headquarters to view the graphic images.
Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., a Senate Armed Services Committee member, said he spent nearly an hour Wednesday looking over more than a dozen photos taken at the Pakistan compound the night bin Laden was killed and on board the U.S. Navy ship that buried his body at sea.
One of the photos was of bin Laden's head and showed what appeared to be a fatal wound, according to Inhofe.
Some lawmakers had no interest in seeing the photos. Said Rep. John Garamendi, D-Calif., a member of House Armed Services Committee, "I'm quite satisfied Osama bin Laden is dead."
