What a pointless boring game,90 minutes of watching nancy boys pretending they have no hands kicking a ball around a field , I thank the christian brothers for banning it in our school.

Glengirl: You would think with the amount of people on here, there would be more interest alright.

If we don't have a game, I'd always watch whatever game is televised, or if we have a game, I'm rushing back to the car to catch the end of the other games, but with this wee competition we have going, I'm hoping teams will win that I never thought I would support

Same as that,, competive nature and it adds a bit of spice to the championship,, thinking ahead in this tipping thread I am hoping for louth to beat meath in the qualifiers but contemplating which would be the best chance of getting my five points..

laugh

i don't like the game myself could never take to it, my grandad brought me to hurling and football games for years he could stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning tellling stories of who he met and what happened in such a game it got me hooked, plus i went to knockbeg and it was all gaa there

You're cruising laugh

I usually pick one risky one each week in the hope of picking up points.....Limerick hurlers nearly did it for me doh

It's all been pretty predictable so far, the fun starts next week

I moved from England to a tiny rural village at the age of 11.

The only sport played there is football, so if you weren't into that, there was nothing else to do.....no youth club, cinema etc.

I was hooked from the first game I watched. Someone once said to me that they watched my son grow up on the sidelines of our local grounds......it was one of my proudest moments laugh

I planned my sons christening around the All Ireland Final laugh

My mum was not impressed uh oh

And keep him "kicking & catching", he will learn more social skills from a close knit club team than he will at any school professor

I used to be so bad that when my kids hit 11 or 12, they wouldn't stand beside me uh oh

In all honesty, I haven't had much to get excited about in recent years, it's more a case of shouting in frustration frustrated
I suppose it all depends on the game really. Now, club games, that's a different story laugh
