In response to: The crazies must be SOOOOOOOO pissed off, yes she is on soverign Irish soil for the first time ever and It's a good thing.... We have a chance to show the world that as a nation and people, we have matured... céad míle fáilte
i have my reservations about the visit, but i hope it goes well and without to much trouble, as a previous poster said the dublin monaghan bombings would be an issue for me too, one i would like to have seen resolved before such a visit, state sponsered terrorism has been a major world issue the past ten year, maybe at another time it could have been addressed

Well I for one welcome her to Ireland. I work in town and the riot up in Parnell square was scary and the noise uh oh

I think its time this country moved on and stopped living in the past as it can never be changed and its not our battle to fight anymore.

We should all be looking to a peaceful future grin

purplesmurf: And you don't think that Mr Adams strategy is well thought out?...Show the Unionists that we will accept their monarch and it might be easier to entice them into a United Ireland..Adams won't do much unless he believes it to be to his benefit. Its all politics and i'll not pretend to understand to motives of many politicians on many issues...

I have to give you a thumbs up on that one
