How many times have you been faced in a situation or circumstance where you are just sooooo angry!! ...and your choices have been...

You can either go with the moment, do what will make you "feel better" and get "instant gratification"...but then suffer the "regrets" of your actions "tomorrow" because it was not thought through...

Or you can suffer in silence...stew over it...rant and rave "mentally"...and then deal with it more "rationally" another time...(of course there is always the fact that "another time" the "passion" of the moment has passed, adrenelin is not pumping, and sometimes most of it is forgotten, or does not seem worth your effort anymore...)

Which one do you choose the majority of times? Why?...and what were the circumstances?

It really all depends on the situation at hand. I try my best to take a step back and take some time to reflect on things before acting upon it but sometimes it doesn't work that way.

Well to be honest, I'm a very empassioned emotional headcase so ya I'd go off and do something crazy right then and there. Even knowing the repercussions. I've made a lot of mistakes in life but meh, I'm living life and overall am not to disappointed in the road I'm on!

Life is all about the experience, the ride, I'm not about to be cautionary and scared to actually live it.

Oh I've definitely had that experience where I regretted the next day. Anyone saying the opposite would definitely be lying.

I definitely hate tomorrow's regrets...so I do try haaaaaaaaaard not to give in. But we are humans. And when I can listen to myself then I am that much more happy in myself because I was intuned completely.

I almost gave in to my urge for instant gratification today....but regretted it almost immediately...

so now i have to add to my original post about this comment that sometimes the person you want to "get back at" means more to you than the instant gratification....and the regret "tomorrow" may be too late....

It was a "reality check" for me for sure!! So happy i'm still willing to "learn"...peace
