That link deals with "real" people having fake profiles.
I wouldn't add anyone to fb just to see if they're real, I use a second sim card for that.
Tineye is useful for checking whether a pic is fake.

@ Biggles , Im the same as yourself regarding not seeing a real pic, I like 2 put a face 2 the name, have mo prob going on msn for abit 2 show im real, I really dont like the thoughts of half of this site having diff profiles 2 trick people, how sad is that

Yea that is alright but do find that doing this now for nearly 3 years on and off i find that most people are insecure came found some nut jobs on me travels alright.

, The pics I have on FB are of me, thats fair enough but I dont think I have the right 2 be giving people on here access 2 pics of my friends etc aswell as my kids and their kids. Ive been 2 a meet so people here know im genuine, some on here have spoke 2 me on the phone and we txt and MSN, I think thats good enough 4 now

lol i didn mean old as such.. i would see the average age around the same age as my parents who to me are relatively young.. but when i think of some one their age creating numerous profiles i cringe for them because its just sad and theres no reasoning behind it

I know a lot of people are just here for the banter,and many of you have made good friends,however i think where serious dating is concerned there is a lot to be said for a subscription site.It would need to be a well monitored site and the first sign of crap,your gone.The charge would need to be high enough so the messers and dumba**'s wouldn't pay,but those who are serious would need too as would be a s.... site then

if ur both looking for dating.. how ever on my profile it clearly states im not.. and on others to... however im still mailed most days.. continues mails and ive no prob relying.. but its up to the person who made first contact to actually read a users profile and what exactly they're looking for
