I have a well spoken Kildare accent, The worse accent in Ireland has to be the fake BBC English/Californian accent that originated in parts of dublin and has now spread to all parts of the country,, around here it is usually accompanied by leinster rugby flags flying out the window of the beemer "Guys",, sorry to burst your bubble folks but it doesn't make you sound posh. just fake.
