I've read quite a bit in here lately about it not being very postive, fun or lighthearted anymore,so here is a thread to post the most wonderful, and happy things, that has ever happened to you in your life.
If you feel comfortable enough to share then by all means let us know what that wonderful thing was,how it came about, and how it affected your life positively.
If you feel you have not gotten there yet then post what you wish and hope for.
For those who are down and feeling kicked around by life, maybe those who are in a better place can give them a virtual boost.A few kind words can really go a long way in life.

the birth of my wee girl is the best thing that ever happened to me.
now as second best: I am expecting a letter from the tax collector, saying I got a huge amount of money coming my way.

There's a song by Roxy Music, "More Than This," which appears on their Avalon album:
The song never specifies what "this" is, but rather asks: "More than this, no there's nothing/More than this, tell me one thing." But I think the song describes the feeling of falling in love. Consider lines like: "Fallen leaves in the night/Who can say where they're blowing?" and "The sea on the tide/Has no way of turning." So, if that's what the song is about, I agree. There is nothing "more" than that.
Me, I've been blessed, in my life. I've known that feeling 3 times, and to me, no, there is nothing "more" than that.
For me getting up every morning, seeing the green trees, glorious sunshine, chirping birds - is as positive a day as I will ever wish for! (OK! I know waking up with a beautiful blond beside me would be better! )
Anyways my litte daughter (8) has been spending the last few days with me - she has measles & has not gone to school! So I bought her a painting set yesterday & she ernestly began painting a few pictures & hung them to dry in the sun, very proffessional like! Then she notices me taking in her artwork & in a very assured, casual manner asks "would I like to buy a few of her artworks?". So, just as casual, I take out my wallet & buy two, later her Mum fetches her & takes her home, with the remainder of her paintings. I later phoned her & asked her if she manage to sell the rest to her brothers to which she replied "no & they don't appreciate art!" I burst out laughing.....grateful for the kids of this world - they make it!

Bental: I am surrounded only by beautiful caring people.
Actually there are quite a number of ugly and un-caring ones too; but they don't count.
Lol That's one way of looking at it.
I'm just happy that in my life that I have finally learned that you don't have to be a certain size to be able to love and be loved.
When I look at who I was before all of these things began happening to me,it's like I was a different person.I was the most shallow and superficial person there was.I am grateful I am no longer that person.

I got to be in Rocky Horror and the Ren Faire and went to a lot of concerts, especially The Grateful Dead a bunch of times. I think I'll start a Deadthread.
