my ex husband was a yelling type of guy..and most of the time when he yelled, it didnt make any sense why he blew up..one time he got mad because i left a bottle of nail polish on the kitchen counter and i was the one who cleaned the house, not him..so it made no sense at all to me why he acted like that?also ya he would nag about stupid stuff and keep bullying me untill i just gave up and left the home for awhile or just gave into whatever crazy demand he said..i am sooo glad i dont live with him anymore..lol

My ex husband was also a relentless nag and it got worse if I ignored him it was rooted in a deep control freak thing he had going (and prolly still does)
he is not a bad person but to this day I cannot figure out how we ended up together as our personalities are almost polar opposites
