I posted this on another thread...but it seems appropriate for here too...
When I woke up today and realized I was 42 years old...I smiled...I am loving it...as a woman it has been the best time of my life!!
No I didn't want to be single at this age, but i do know i have alot more to offer a partner in a relationship than i had 20 years ago..
I love the little crow's feet when i smile...it says that through it all I learned to laugh and kept my sense of humour..
I may not have the body i did 20 years ago...but guess what I got the honor of being a MOM!!
These years have taught me patience and tolerance...acceptance for differences and change...and I thank each and every person that has contributed to my life that I may be who I am today!!
