Obama has inspired hope around the world in contrast to the Bush years. As for not keeping his promises: All he can do domestically is coax congress to come out of its inertia and get something done.
Hiya mate, Originally from the UK (Hull) I can appreciate your walk in the woods. Have you ever been through the lake district? When I go back to the old country to visit, I usually fly into Manchester and thence onto Wakefield via train. Barry
Whatever the outcome, football will be the winner!!! 2 great teams - could go either way. BTW - in Canada we have 3 downs - field is 55 by 110 yards with a 25 yard end zone. No fair catch - single points can be scored if the defender can't run out of the endzone or if it's booted right through. Longest punt in pro ball Dave Mann, Toronto Argonauts, mid sixties, 104 yards!!!!!
Absolutely not!!! I got rid of the demon 8 years ago and I can't stand the smell of it now. A 25 pack costs over $10 in Nova Scotia!!! I feel sorry for them.
I think there were a lot of upsets during the tournament and that's good for the game. The Pommies did well, noone expected them to go this far. The All Blacks and Wallabees will be all the more determined next time round. Now if only the Canadians can figure out how to play the game properly.
Rugby is hard to follow in Canada - it's played on a wide scale but not on a highly professional plane. I might have to go to a sports bar tonight to watch the game
