(Okay, Nuliiiiii--turn the lights off, lower your voice to a gravely Charleton Heston sharpness, throw me on the bed and tease me to near insanity with a hot oil massage, put on retro T.V. to "Rawhide" or "Maverick", and I'll rise to the occasion.
oops--should have put it another way, too late now!!
Nuliiiiiii: Howdy, I'm just about the cutest old cowboy anybody could ever hope to meet, as welcome as the flowers in spring and handy around the house in every way imaginable, heck, I'm so hot I turn myself on, so don't miss a beat in getting back to me 'cause you would never forgive yourself for missing this golden opportunity.
Cowboy eh??Yehawwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Or should that be Howdy
Howdy will do. Yes, lovie, before my Med-Tech days, I grew up in the country, worked on farms, ranches, etc...Used to know how to ride a horse fair enough--Mine was a Morgan, all around work and leisure horse. I got pretty good at buying quality breed hens (Rhode Island Reds are said to be the best in the U.S.) and I continue to visit friends on a ranch--they have cattle, horses, miniature goats, chickens, and alpacas! Cowboy up!!
rohaan: Do you know any? (yes, I meant what I said in my profile).
Oops!@!! Sorry, did not mean to step. Anyway, no. I have been single for 6 years and have not dated in that time either. If I did, I would send them your way just because you asked.
rohaan: Because you said this, I went and read your profile, twice, to be exact. Everybody's beautiful, dearest, just like the song. (You have a very pleasant look--by the way). One of my very best longtime friends, now gone, fought hard for her life even when she was told she had not much longer. One of the most memorable things she said to me was "work at seeing the world awesomely, gloriously, wonderfully, marvelously, and soon you will find yourself making that optimism come true". See a crossroad as a confluence, a failure as an opportunity, an unkind word or gesture from someone as a chance to model understanding and warmth, an unrequited love as a blessing, a traffic jam as a moment to check priorities and be thankful you didn't get in a wreck or worse, and a realization that you were born to step to the music of a different drummer and be thankful that God saw fit to give you an awareness and love of life few others have.
Thank you!!! You have made my evening. Here I was sitting here trying to write a term paper and this is about the sweetest thing that has been said in quite awhile. One other friend gave me a compliment Tuesday and I think I am liking these compliments.
Also, thank you for sharing your thoughts from your friend. I have a saying as well "Positive thinking is the power to success."
