You always have to keep part of your mind alert to the possibility that the things people make an issue of in their profiles may be the things which are actually issues in their lives.
So when someone makes a big deal about "must be honest, I value honesty, etc ..." there's a fair chance they'll turn out to be untrustworthy. I've found that people claiming that a sense of humor is very important to them or "must make me laugh ..." often turn out to lack any sense of humor at all and can't grasp the concept of somebody kidding with them about anything.
You have to approach a profile as a detective would approach fingerprints.

Yes Ccincy, I only look at profiles of people I'm conversing with in the forums. I always like to get an idea of who I'm typing to, so I usually read theirs.
