No i wouldnt. something like this happened to of my friends she wanted kids he didnt and they got married anyway. Now nine years later they are getting divorced as she couldnt get him to change his mind. Its a big thing to have different views on.

good thread gg, I meet a guy from here, he didnt state whether he did or didnt want kids on his profile, hes a really nice guy and we got on really well,but he told me he never would want to have kids, to me that was a deal breaker
he has asked to meet several times since but I dont see the point, even if I never had kids theres always kids in my home cause Ive over 30 nieces and nephews, I just cant shake them Glengirl: To follow on from Chancers poll....

i dont want kids for the simple reason that im far to young im only starting to live my life. id hate the idea of not being able to go where i want when i want.. i look at friends with kids and pity them. i know having children isn the end of the world but ive 2 two yr old bros and a godchild on the way thats more than enough for me
with that said i couldn date anyone with kids because im to selfish, i wouldn be able to handle his ex constantly being in the pic, his time being split between his family and us.. and my biggest one of all is if i do ever decide i want kids i want us to be starting our family together.. 'our' first child etc..

and to be honest, i don't know how well i can answer it. as regards your past point, yes there would be no second date if it came up in conversation that she wanted no kids.
yes, if i was engaged and with someone years and we found out she couldnt have kids, as long as i loved her (which i should if im engaged) then i would stay. (there is always adoption)
I'll put it like this, it's a dealbreaker for me if it comes up when i first start seeing someone that they don't want kids.
