unouwantme2: or a trusting person that something that was a mistake 5 years ago wouldnt happen again.. youd be none the wiser and still enjoying a healthy relationship only 4 that phonecall..

But then there could also be someone else calling you later about what happened 4 years ago and someone else 3 years ago etc..
I'm afraid the trust would be gone

unouwantme2: ye im serious.. the fact the person ended the affair proves how sry he is for the hurt caused and that he loved his wife.. he could of continued it as she was none the wiser to me its clear hes extremly sorry for the mistake he made

Ended it after a year? No that wasnt a mistake that was an intentional act of deception.

we all make mistakes in life glatol.. now if that affair was ongoing for the past 5 years then my outlook changes but the fact it happened 5 years ago(which is a very long time) proves differently to me

I dont agree that an affair that went on for a year was just a mistake. A mistake is doing something once and realising it was wrong.

thumbs up
A one night stand, with one person, just once... probably forgiveable.

Serial cheating... not thumbs down
