I don't understand why do you want to end the relationship if you still have feelings for your partner. The fact that you don't want to hurt him by leaving him shows that you still love him. And if you don't love him anymore, are you sure that he still loves you? Maybe your departure from your relationship won't hurt him a bit.

Its not me, many woman face this situation. sometime woman talk with heart, not with brain. maybe coz of togetherness the care still there, so its not love. man can be blunt, they can leave and forget everything behind, but not with woman. The problem is when idea to end the relationship come from woman, ofcourse heart will also talk.

unfortunetly you have to go through all the stages and hurt is one of them even if it is amicable breakout - the fallout is still painfull and you are kidding yourself if you think that is all is ok.... it's not ... whether is happens in a day or 6 months time, the pain is still there ...it's how you deal with it APPROPRIATELY
