I do the job hunting when I get the job - they get paid ...

crazy screwed up system - you have to go through job agencies, you can't apply directly to the employer - ... just so blasted frustrating...

anyway I'm thinking of going back to tafe next year to study either cert 4 in finance or do my diploma in accounting...

so much for industrial revolution -

I think of how much easier there was to get work before machinery took over -
hard to believe that my dad was down in the mines at 14, my grandmother worked in a stocking factory until she retired... now even kids are finding it hard to get apprentices, and traineeships because of the industrial revolution.

I trained as enrolled nurse in a hospital, now I have to go college if I want to work in a hospital, and pay the registration board 1500 for the friggin priviledge....

yes its hrd over here to if you want training i was told i would have to pay the second computer course i am on they want 1000 pound that i just dont have so will have to save and then omplete the course when i can.
fancy having to pay to train as a nurse that should be free after all it will benefit the community you live in and then the tax you pay will be of benefit to your community to.

wells boys and girls as you can see I am making the most of this beautiful Sunday - lazying around and enjoying the beautiful sunshine - that's something that you don't get isn't it?? rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

For the gardeners in you - the plants behind me are grevilleas and are native to australia, mine are doing really well, as my soil is acidic thanks to the pine trees (cone) these I only planted last year and they shy of about 1metre, now they are nearly taller than my house.

Pity you guys aren't over here, we could have a barbie and I can watch your skin turn from lillywhite to lobster shade in a matter of minutes...

islandgirl62: that's a shame, my daughter has to surrender her cat, but I couldn't keep him as I was in violation of our local council laws - so he got a new home .... and she is heartbroken that he may have gone to another home... she feels that she is a bad mother...

May I enquire as to what manner of Council would disallow the keeping of a pet? It seems incredibly mean to me.

Council allows you to have 2 cats and or 2 dogs, but after that, you have to pay for a yearly licence.

Also the poor thing was getting picked on by my 3 cats, so he needed a home where is had the attention and love.

If the landlord would of permited it my daughter would of taken it with her.
