This thread has me puzzled. Well laughing too, as usual SDB is on spot! 
But is it somehow considered bad that he's got Funygirl's number in his phone?
I mean, remembering that he actually spent the night in her house...I myself would be more worried about having had a stranger in the house, not that he's got my number.
Maybe I am just misreading the replies

funygirl: Ok would love some feedback on this..I met a guy in a pub last friday night we got on really well loads of chat and flirting..we went back to my place for a nightcap and he stayed over..not much happened only a bit of kissing but we got up and hung out for most of the day..he asked for my number and saved it in his phone...dropped him home abot two hours later got a peck on the cheek and he said he would ring me during the week and we would go to the cinema or something ..I said yrah sounds good..Its Thursday now and no call or text so I am asking Why oh wHY DID HE TAKE MY NUMBER AND NOT USE IT ???
All the above are possibly true but before judging him completely consider he may have been mugged & had his phone stolen. Happens all the time in England so i'm sure it happens there too

But he wasn't a stranger, she had met him earlier in the night?

It's only thursday... it's still "during the week" as far as I know
I had 3 date's this year, all done the same thing, had a great evening, chatting, drinking/eating. talking/laughing all night. kissing, then toward the end, "love to see you again" but it, doesn't happen? anther date! why can't they be honest, and putting my hope up! they complete blank me afterward, and not reply to my text's!

Did he live locally? Have heard of people picking up someone purely because they have spent the taxi money to get home i.e to have somewhere to sleep.
OR
He simply may have taken your number down incorrectly.
