I have been on the site a couple of weeks after a break of several months. The one thing that has really caught my attention is the lack of respect and manners that are shown by some people here. I think we have forgotten that even though we are all online that everyday good manners and equitte should apply here. After all we are trying to make a good impression on other people and being rude and disrespectful is hardly going to do that.

Hi
Thanks for your comments I totally agree with everything you have said. It's sad that things have gone that way.I would prefer to treat someone respectfully if i can, I know that i haven't always done that. Nontheless its better to treat people well rather than badly either online or in person.

think if u cant get ur point/opinion across without belittling another persons..uve already lost and shown ur true insides...out.

who would date that eh..

then again..i do find its them who dont want to connect properly to other humans, that just scour the net throwing their thoughtless and smallminded opinion about.

They make the good people even get closer to each other ..further alienating them prize turkeys and making them feeling more unwanted and unhappy..and angry and

it shows..in their posts..

they arent fooling no one

I don't agree with you Millie. handshake
There are already quite a few people posting on this thread so there is a conversation going on, which is good.

"Fun" is a very subjective thing, we all have different sense of humour.
What you might find fun I might find boring and vice versa.

great post and I totally agree, but think it would be ridiculously idealistic to expect every one on the internet/forums/etc to be polite!
Anyone I know on any site or forums talks about the arguements, temper tantrums and disrespect!

We get a mish-mash of everyone on sites like this so people are bound to clash. Shame some people resort to being nasty and hurtful to get their point across...but I guess that is life!

Personally I try my best to be polite but I think my halo my have slipped a few times!

I agree about agood convo goen on in a thread but it doesnt always have to be a thread like this no offense to the Op everyone is entitles to an opinion but i havent liked the vibe around this palce lately..... its not good for oneself to be hearing it all the time and i know u can ignore a thread if u want but its not easy sometimes !!!

I agree u might not get my sense of humour or i might not get urs but were all adults here !!
