I'm boored and doing some laundry..

Here is some facts from me to all of you out there:

Swedes have a tendancy to wear "viking helmets" at icehockey matches.. Hmm, Swedish vikings where FARMERS, the cool ones are the Danish or Norwegians.. (Ooops, this could take me to courtmarshal.. )

Sweden and Switzerland are NOT the same. Switzerlands main exports are, kookoo clocks and chocolate.. Swedens main exports are IKEA and ABBA..

In Sweden not all girls walk around dressed as "swedish bikini team", That's actually in Norway! ;)

Sweden has not been engaged in war for over 300 years, yes we where chickens during WW2 but for gods sake, the Vikings left for America 1000 years ago and left us all alone, defenseless!

In Sweden most peoples applause the global warming, we could need some degrees warmer!

We use larger icehockey rinks than the NHL does, We need the space, are big folks you know..

In Sweden, we must buy our alcohol from special shops, called "systembolaget".. ( Or moonshine from you next door neighbours cellar..)

When we spent millions of $ to built our own superspecial warplane, it crasched pretty early during his flight over our capital..

Stockholm truly is an beautiful capital, we don't have to mention that we stoled much of the arcitecture from the french, we left the frog eating to them...

Sweden has had quite a stable economic structure since 1945.. Hmm i wonder why, 85% of Europe's industry bombed to bits, but not ours..

In sports we often competes with our friends the Norwegians, they come to us and tries to take our women and we do the same to them..

In Sweden, winter always comes as a shock to everyone, what the ***** it's snowing again.. ( It does that every year, stupid...) And once again all trains and buses are standing still...

That's what i had to tell you about my country, what about yours?

Canada. 2nd largest country in the world. 5 months of winter, spring , fall, and 8 days of summer. Women, beautiful. Men, don't seem to care. National pass-time, beer, hockey and complaining about winter. National pride, Maple syrup and snow removal efficiency. Paws

here is a song explaining what malta is all about..

Malta, we love Malta!
These are the things we'd alter.

Now you've not been in Malta for very long,
Before you notice some things seem wrong

Now the Maltese people are very nice,
If you hire a car, you better think twice.

I hired one the first day I got here
With no brakes, no clutch, and I can't change gear.

I went around to get my money back,
But the man says, don't worry 'cause they're all like that.

Now I took a taxi, had a terrible fright.
He drove on the left, he drove on the right.

I asked the driver, can this be true?
Does everyone in Malta drive like you?

He turned around, and said we got it made,
In Malta, everybody drives in the shade.

Oh, the Maltese girls are very fine,
With dark skin and eyes that shine.

I asked a girl to come out with me till late,
So I picked her up about a half past eight,

Her mother said, now have a real good time,
But she better be home by half past nine! (refrain)

Now the first thing that made me very cross,
Was everybody drives like Sterling Moss.

The buses here are a bit of a joke,
Old and green, and make a lot of smoke.

The smallest book in the world, we're told,
That's the Maltese highway code. (refrain)

Now when you leave Malta, you'll be very sad -
'Cause things over here aren't really that bad.

We got the sunshine, we got the sea,
And not long ago we got the colour TV.

And when you come back, well you never know -
Someone might have filled up all the holes in the roads.

Malta, we love Malta,
These are the things we'd alter.
Malta, we love Malta,
There's nothing that we'd alter!

Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maltese_Calypso"

Pls note that the song is quite old.. in fact the buses are now a bright yellow.. for the rest? basically the same lol..

oh yeah.. girls still do stay out till 9ish.. in the morning
wink

dancing

In United States we take great pride in Liberty and individual freedom,
and "Liberal" has become a "bad word".

lib·er·al
adjective
Definition:
1. broad-minded: tolerant of different views and standards of behavior in others
2. progressive politically or socially: favoring gradual reform, especially political reforms that extend democracy, distribute wealth more evenly, and protect the personal freedom of the individual

Any "worthy" or kind religion doesn't seem to belong to those with the values above anymore. Our current leader if given the choice would bypass any due process in the name of liberty while slinging the word "liberal" around to paint any dissension from his and his "Commrades" point of view as not patriotic. We pride ourselves as being built on many of the principles of dissension and free speech. Anyone who currently disagrees with policies in place is to be considered an Un-American pariah.

One of our most precious icons bears the words..

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Great walls are being planned currently to keep these individuals out.

A Rhodes Scholar who received a BJ in the White House was nearly impeached for it. A "C" average student, oilman, former sports team owner, has been "Staying the Course" of a years old war that was waged on weak evidence at best, is just now being questioned. This has been done in the name National Security, while in the course of 5 years the country has gone from one of the most respected and sympathized with; to a reputation as evil imperialists. While trying to spread the concepts and values of liberty, freedom, and human rights (pretty clear cut words) the current powers that be, seem to want to play with the "semantics" of what's considered torture.

When anyone suggests that we try to find a way to take our sons and daughters out of harms way; somehow they are not being supportive of them.

When someone cares enough to speak up for a country that they love, someone will inevitabley say "like it or leave it". Just wait a few minutes.
