It could just as easily be called the United States of China, considering how the Chinese own so much of the money the U.S. borrows from China. If China ever calls in the debts, the U.S. will have to declare bankruptcy.

Ali my friend, the USA is very much at odds with your Government in Pakistan. Afghanistan borders Pakistan and things happened with your Government hiding Bin Laden and talking badly to Hillary Clinton. India also owns Nuclear Bombs and is much more an ally to the US…sorry to put it bluntly, however it’s the truth.
In the USA...
It starts very local in the neighborhood that you live in. We pay our property taxes to our locality to provide local law authorities to serve and protect us and to make sure that our highways are safe. Some tax money moves on to the counties or parishes for the courts to operate efficiently and prosecute criminals. It moves on to the State level that provides a national guard or militia to protect the State borders from intrusion. Lastly, tax money moves on to the Federal Government which provides protection from a threat by foreign countries to our borders or to fight wars if needed.
This is a simple explanation. Many other details are involved.
