englishelegance: Well thanks Hotrod, yes I agree, many women go for that look but i am not in that category. I have watched and observed that a lot of women go for that sort of guy, seems like you say it only ends in tears. But what is stranger,...this sort of guy seems to end up way behind in relationships.....
Is that on here, or in RL?
I must have blinkers on because I see nice pairings going on here and I like my friend's partners, all except one.
Tend to think men walk a fine line. If a man comes off assertive he comes off being cocky. If he comes off sensitive then he's seen as a wimp. Some situations I can be both...just not at the same time.
Probably the best thing for a man is to be himself....
The last few men that caught my attention are the ones that held the door and said something nice, with a smile on their face and it made me smile back at them with gratitude.
In response to: Me personally I like a guy to be strong in some areas of a relationship, but what do you ladies think of a guy who cannot show any feeling because of his "Machoness"? is this a turn off for you?. My man would have to balance equal masculine/femminine qualities for me to be remotely interested, your views on this?
If a man has been taught to not show their emotions and be "a man," I tend to feel a tad sorry for them. It's not shameful to show or hide emotions but there is always a time and place for displaying them.

"These ChinesE imports pet are always really two sizes smaller than what the label says...So your looking good considering they are much smaller than your normal"
You must have lost some weight...That lads will cost a beer for those who I KNOW will use it in the future...
englishelegance: I find a lot of guys seem to "Wanna be the man" but have absolutely no idea when it comes to what women want from him....shame he aint reading from the same page. There are sooo many lost souls in life!!
I hope you can clarify what you said here. Seems to me that you feel a man should only read a woman's 'page' and be on it. Do women really know what a man wants from her? Don't men have a valid 'page' as well? Is there no longer a common ground for both man and woman to work upon?
