I love America, just like other's love their Country. But it make's me sad when I heard on the new's that it's a new record, 101 of our military got killed in Oct. fighting that useless war.
Civil War,brother against brother.Not good
WW2,now that war had to be,good
Viet Nam, what was the point? not good.
One thing the same, brave people did what their gov't asked.

i dont see any american bashers on this thread, i see a couple of people mention america should start looking after its own people rather than all the aid the u.s gives, i think it is the people who run america that is the problem, in saying that whoever runs america will become a hate figure, why is this? maybe because america always leads the pack when it comes to going to a modern day war, my opinion is someone needs to police the world otherwise you could only imagine what would happen, hold on dont we have an organization that is supposed to do this? what do the united nations exactly do?

Bash the idealism of America. I think not.

Politicians it’s not their fault, is it?

What is wrong with this country? It’s The People, people

The politicians are in power only because we allow it. The day Bush stole the election and we allowed it we got, what we got. The fact that we did not stormy the streets the night he stole the election 6 years ago and demanded it be done right, is appalling at best.

The fact that every American is not screaming Impeachment is unbelievable.

As long as we accept things as they are we get what we get and our children are the ones that will pay for our lack of action in the maters of the last 6 years.

Don’t blame the politicians, they work for us remember. Something far too Americans seem to have forgotten.

Oh yea I thud too

As far as the war..it is a questionable war..

It is funny...In alot of Sweepstakes I have seen it says employees or family associated with the company holding the sweepstakes are prohibited from entering..Why?...Because they could manipulate it in their favor from the inside...I look at this War the same way. There are too many inside players who stand alot to gain from it. They can manipulate in their favor..Who wins...only them. I personally think this is one of the most corrupt adminstrations there has ever been...
All I am saying is I don't care for the idea of the people in Washington DC playing Monopoly with Our people as the pawns..

Bush has alot gain by the war...

On the morning of September 11, 2001, George W. Bush's father, George H. W. Bush, was meeting with "Osama bin Laden's brother", Shafig bin Laden, in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Washington, on Carlyle Group business. What is the Carlyle group?...A private investment group who happens to be one of the biggest defense contractors for this war.

Carlyle's portfolio is heavy in defense and telecommunications firms, although it has other holdings including food and bottling companies. They got their start in the defense buyout business. They struggled for the first couple of years before they hired Frank Carlucci, who was the outgoing Secretary of Defense from the Reagan administration. And Carlucci brought them in the direction of defense buyouts in the late ë80s, early ë90s, in between the Cold War and the Gulf War, when defense properties were undervalued. And the company struck gold a couple times in that business and was able to build a very healthy buyout practice on the back of these defense LBOs, or leveraged buyouts.

From there, they have diversified over the ensuing 10-12 years, into everything from healthcare to telecommunications, to aerospace and others. But defense is still the cornerstone of their practice.

Bush Sr. The former president and ex-CIA director is a member of Washington's Carlyle Group, a $12 billion private equity firm which employs a motorcade of former ranking Republicans, including Frank Carlucci, Jim Baker and Richard Darman. George Bush senior and colleagues open doors overseas for The Carlyle Group's "access capitalists.

Bush specializes in Asia and has been in and out of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait on business since his presidency. The Carlyle connection means that George Bush Senior is on the payroll from private interests that have defense business before the government. Alot of other politicians have a piece of this corporation too!

George W. Bush could, some day, benefit financially from his own administration's decisions, through his father's investments.

They are also profiting off the "good" things too...They are vested in all the aspects.

Then you count the crooked elections and you know what...whatever party has the most money seems to win.

Then who is to say what what will happen with these new fangles voting machines. I am not paranoid...just extremely skeptical with the integrity of those running this country...
