yep...definitely the best part of halloween.

get home...go through the candy...pick out all the ones that aren't safe for the kids, you know...the candy bars, that sort of thing...

and EAT THE HELL OUT OF THEM!

I realized I was perhaps being a little overboard on year.

Bout 4 years ago I noticed my younger daughter had a hidden bag. I checked it and all my favorite stuff was in there.

When I asked her why she was hiding them she said

'but daddy you allways take out the best stuff'

caitlyn tried to do goth.

the only thing is...she thinks that just means 'black'. didn't QUITE work with her in black athletic pants with pink and white stripes down the side, and a smart little black button down short-sleeved shirt.

laugh rolling on the floor laughing

Effort points anyhow, eh?

My oldest wore a deep green ball gown( She Borowed it from kaitlyns dress up clothes LOL) with the black make-up and black lipstick...the younger wore the same facial stuff with a lacey black gown, I must say they both looked great for a last minute costume!

My kids got some good stuff this year! They also got pencils, straws, microwave popcorn, and bible trading cards, they were less than impressed by those treats!

Brian and the kids were non too pleased when I bought fruit snacks instead of candy to hand out LOL oh well, we never had a single trick or treater anyhow, and now they have a healthier treat for tonight....I dont think ill get away with it next year thoughroll eyes laugh

the popcorn would have made my kids mad since we dont have a microwaverolling on the floor laughing

Um did Jordan even get candy? I thought a costume was a rule? LOL
