Now be brave and stay in Aghanistan to win the war Kiddo!

No more nappies are comin..

You and I do not know each other. So I just say that I am sincere when I tell you that there is no person here that can control the future events of any Country, But the one thing we do have control of is how we decide to treat the people we meet, however near or far. That single moment we decide to "like" or "dislike" to "Love" or "Hate", that moment is where changes begin.

Hello! I decide to "dislike" the killing of innocent humans. Whoever does it and wherever it is done.

Like current events, you clearly have a poor understanding of Late Antiquity. The Roman Empire never 'fell' as such, it transformed.

Dear Conradical,

On a serious note, I have always maintained that Killing of any human is unacceptable, whether by Taliban or by CIA Mosad terrorists or By Gaddhafi/Saddam/Bashar regimes. At the same time, the astonishing fact is that all these people have been harbored by the USA and later branded otherwise. Who made Taliban and Mujahideen? Who trained Osama? Ofcourse it was the US and they admitted themselves.

This policy of promoting extra-judicial killings , bombimg innocent civilians, and target killing individual deserves condemnation, not praised. Examples of Mosad agents killing a leader in Dubai and of Raymond Davis killing civilians in broad daylight under cover of CIA contractor, speaks volumes of the fact that this battles is between two evils, where the bigger one will eliminate the weaker. Yet both are Evil in my book. No matter what the Sock Puppets propagate.

Thanks for your effort. I am well-informed already. This territory has always been a war torn area. First it had a marxist/communist government and later the opposite extreme. More importantly it became the war practice ground for both USSR and USA who fought their proxy cold wars there and had a finale.

Now again US and Nato have spent 10 years training Taliban on how to fight a highly advanced, both tehnologically and logistically, global army "successfully" thus making them a bigger threat to the world compared to what they supposedly were 10 years ago. Countries perform War games/exercises to equip for battle. In this case, US and Nato have provided hundreds of billions of Dollars worth of free practice. WOW!

maxmate1: It is debatable on who does it in greater numbers. Both are evil in my book. Just that one is stronger and the other is comparatively weaker. Nothing is by accident, but by design.

Your pals kill two thirds of all civillians my friend.

Here is credible proof from the UN. If you wish to counter it, please provide something more credible.

""Most Afghan civilian deaths 'caused by Taliban attacks, not US forces'Despite UN report, growing number of insurgent atrocities unlikely to damp popular fury over botched US strikes

The annual United Nations report on civilian casualties shows that more than two-thirds of the 2,777 civilians killed last year were the victims of insurgents – a 28% increase on 2009. By contrast Nato and Afghan government forces were responsible for killing 440, a 25% decrease.

More than half of the deaths caused by the Taliban were the result of homemade bombs and suicide attacks.

The report's authors said the "most alarming" trend was a 105% increase in the number of civilians assassinated by insurgents as part of the Taliban's campaign against government officials.""

Yep,that Hamas-Leader must have been "Innocent" by your "Standards" then!

Sorry but you have the wrong picture. NATO is not fighting the Taliban and, the Taliban are nto fighting NATO but ratrher NATO is protecting civilians from the Taliban and the Taliban is intent on killing civilians so they are afraid to contribute to a society that would never include the Taliban.

If you have any respect for human life youi would stop support of the Taliban and allow the people to continue with their lives in peace.

How about that corrupt regime in your country that tortures it's own people? I belive there was an entire thread built around that fact.

Please don't prove a point that doesn't need any proof. The point is innocent killings. How many innocent civilians, including women and shildren have the US drone attacks killed? The official figures? And how many by the trigger-happy spies under the cover of security contractors (blackwater/XE etc)?

It seems that Taliban and the US/Nato are battling to win "who-kills-more" marathon?

And since Taliban are terrorists, which for 10 years US/Nato have fought, why is there a dialogue with them now?

confused

And what really confuses me is the fact that how come a small army of Taliban fights for 10 years with world's largest army coalition equipped with the human history's best technology? No ammunition depot can last so long. Not one country can produce such massive quantities of weapons and amunition for the consumption by Taliban for 10 years, unless US dumps itself. Or the top-10 weapons and amunition manufacturing nations that are also part of the coalition. The more there is war, the more weapon sales it is, contributing to the GDP of such nations producing them. Right?
