milankovic: Well, whats the opinion if your in a relationship and still posting on here. Is that frowned upon? Is it clogging up the site and seen as wasting time for others? Even when you tell them your in a relationship?

How would it be clogging up the site??

Well folks might think if your already in a relationship that you should be happy with your lot and leave this place to serious daters?

That topic has come up on the forums many times Milan conversing i can only give you my opinion on it ............ I do not care what a persons relationship status is....... married,in a relationship, etc.,etc., to me what is important is,that the person is honest about it in their profile........... if you are given the truth in a persons profile how you interact with that person after that is your choice ......... IMO.

As for using the forum pages........ the same rules apply as far as i am concerned,i have no problem what so ever with people using the forums if they are in a relationship or if they are the Bishop of Meath.......... IMO there is room on here for everyone.... and the one thing there is plenty of on here is space, space a plenty to give your opinion on these pages ......... bouquet

In response to: When was the last time you went on a date from CS or any other dating site?

My last date from here was last summer. Followed very quickly by my last date from another site which meandered into a brief relationship of sorts for a couple of months. No internet dates since mumbling

dates..ok heres my view..and brutal honesty.

im only single since jan last year...after 14 yrs..so it is very dramatically diff since the last time i was single..the world got bigger..and online has become a very big way of meeting people.

.i hate the term date..its so official..and american ..and formal. and looking for failure or something..i dont go for the whole meal thing..its just not me..gimme a few vodkas and chat and im happy.

i thought i wanted to play the field in this new world i had been unleashed in..and all that jazz....and i did have a drink or 2 with a few people along the year.

Here in CS , I met someone who has become prob one the best friends i will ever have thru going on as we joked..a non date..which was drinks..and so on...

and near the end of the year..someone i made friends with gradually over the last 3 years Online , and was only friends with while married ...well became much more than a friend..because i suppose we got brave and admitted it was possible it could be more, took a leap and it worked...so far so good.... now it IS more...

so far my experience of online "dating" has been magical..im not new online by any means..but i was newly single and available.

and if things dont work out in the future...id be proud to tell people i make great connections online with very likeminded soulful people.

Oh yeah a few but I don't feel I'm in a dating frame of mind while I'm out of work and not sure they'd be interested so I'm between a rock and a proverbial hard place of sortssigh
