He really has a great personality and he can perform. Nerves don't seem to get to him and he comes across as a real showman.

The jusdges on the voice of ireland are beased on who they are which they are well known Iirsh artists... u say sharon corr paly the fiddle, she was part of a very well known irish band called the corrs ... And ok I amy not like kian egan but ive heard all of westlife sing solo and they can sing it really pisses me off people slagging people in bands just coz all they do is back up the main singers ....
All thses guys have connections in the music industry i think its about time something like this has come about give a person a chance to get somewhere in the music industry ... i think its the best out of all the competitions we have had in this country ....

I have to totally disagree with you Millie the English version of the voice albeit I only watched it last night the judges on that are very talented. Will I Am has written and produced music for stars such as John Legend, Fergie, Michael Jackson, Rihanna and Usher just to mention a few. These artists have gone on to sell thousands of records as a result. As has Jessie J again she has written and produced for a lot of UK and US artists including Chris Brown. As for Tom Jones like or dislike him he is a music legend singing with Elvis Presley. Danny for the script is also a music writer and talented singer. Need I say more.
Finally the talent that has appeared on the UK version some of which were outstanding in particular Jazz Ellington check out the link and tell me that there is someone even close to him in the Irish version...I had no interest or intention of watching it last night but I was hooked...the singers were really good...hate to say it but sometimes other countries are just better at this than us we always seem to struggle to get the same caliber of judges for any of our shows...enjoy the link

They are the musical equivalent of mannequins in a shop window. Somebody else dresses them, sets up their pose, and the public gawk at them and possibly buy some of the things they see.
