Think 1 wasnt emotionally stable, he was like an over grown baby, she ended up throwing him out. The other kept going back after broken relationships adn I suppose she didnt want 2 refuse him ?? But 1 wanted hers there and she was taking 50 quid a wk off him and actually saving it 4 him for when he eventually left home .... madness

True, I really dont get it, part of our role as parents is to ensure our children are independent and self sufficient.
Mine were all aware that once they finished full time education it was time to move out.

Same. Left for Uni at around 17/18. Even Summers I was away... Went back once years back for a few months lost a job, and the guy who raised me was terminally ill at the same time so was glad to be around to help. Left again.
