I had all the rest of my lower back fused in 2010 ( a move I wish I had not done) I was out of pocket by $15,000 and I had health Insurance. Be very careful my friend.

I made the mistake in 2010 getting a fusion this is the result. The next one up goes and the next one and the next one. It helped at the time and I could do most things but bang I am in pain again. I have learnt my lesson so will wait. Yes Risky took the Risk.
TWINbro: couldnt agree more with what youre saying,and if my condition was bad enough i would have probably had to go to hospital,but the leading neuro surgeon in the local hospital told me ,that before i try any medicines,try to take the load off my spine for a while by swimming at the local pool for a few months,to try and decrease the inflamation caused by constant pounding of my lower spinewhen i throw a ball.Idid this, and the result was i have never ever had any more pain whatsoever.all my spine needed was to take time out for the vertebrae to open ,and give them a chance to restso to speak.everyone is effected differently
I swim, I exercise faithfully, I have lost weight, but I felt good and had too move in a hurry and did a lot of lifting. I have also had a hard life working on properties an than went aged care nursing when I was forty. I also have Osteoarthritis which I can't take anti-inflammatories but take all the help pills. We never learn do we.

I have a different problem ..a severe bulging disk and its pressing on a nerve its causes quite a lot of Sciatica pain and I have to have an op as soon as possible will have to look into what they do.
This is one of the reasons I have never had health insurance as there are so many hidden costs.
If my pain became unbearable I would let them know even if I had to lay on their office floor screaming and moaning.
It does work.
