If it gets to the point where I am going to meet someone, I might be tempted to use a webcam, but the internet access where I am is diabolically slow and pictures on the webcam come out so crap I could be talking to Frankenstein's bride and wouldn't be able to tell.

I like to see a pic of someone before I meet them but I don't care for webcam either. I have never trusted a guy I have not met when they ask to chat by webcam and considering the amount of pics of willies I have had sent to my mobile by guys I unfortunately gave my number to, I don't think I am wrong. yep, i would need to know someone fairly well also, and like them personality wise etc but there would also need to be a physical attraction. i have seen pics of people and later chat to them on cam and its like, ...who the f-ck is that.
loked totally diff.i dont think i could meet anyone on the basis of a pic for that reason. its like been cheated on before you start. lol.
yet everyone to their own no doubt.,,,just seems a bit strange why someone would go miles to see someone when all they have to do is press a button and see them. the could meet afterwrds if they wished and they would even be more familiar after chatting on cam.
