KNenagh: Guess who I would tip to win the tournament? Rises my popularity on here again...
Or were you hoping for other tips?

I'm always open to any sort of tips. Broadening ones knowledge is never a bad thing. devil

Yeah I'm in the middle of organising it Sky.

Will you and Uno help me out with corralating the scores and posting the next round of matches and so on as I may not be online and there will be a quick turnaround in the group games ?

Yeah sure. But I think it needs some thought. I know from the GAA thread that keeping track of tips can be a big job and thats with only a handful involved. Every inflatable shamrock shaker in here will be putting tips in one day and not the next, the tips will be lost in pages of chat etc etc...

Can you make one seperate thread where to post tips only and have the chatter going on this thread?

Don't know if that would work...dunno

We don't have much time and I am trying to make it easy to try to get as many peeps involved as possible.
I will do the bulk of the work as I have time in the next couple of weeks and if there is any time I cant corralate the scores I can mail you and Uno.
I reckon others can help too like Sofar and Dubguy.

I think its worth trying. thumbs up

You have mail and its all ready to go on another window I have open.
Would appreciate feedback so we can get this started as quickly as possible.

As regards the trolls I beleive we give everyone a chance and if someone starts messing with it we ban them.

skyblue43: Ah prowler calm down. A bit of common sense needs to be applied. We will not be second in the group for the same reason as Waterford won't reach an All Ireland football semi final. The talent isn't in the team. Everyone will support them but expectations have to be realistic...
why does every1 just ridecule their own team.its sickening.i heard the same crap from dublin fans last year.we won leinster and all i heard was"ah jaysus we wont beat tyrone in the next one",then we win that and its,"ah jaysus we will prob make a balls of it v donegal"then we win that and its"we defo wont beat kerry.its the same negative crap all along.so calls fans waiting to lose so they can say"told ye wed lose".id rather go to matches on my own, just so i wouldnt have to listen to this negative crap.

Phoenix: It doesn't matter what kind of shirt you habe KNenagh. Its how you wear it and whats underneath that counts.

Not everyone will find out I'm afraid. And not turning up in a soccer kit in Clare.

@ Prowler
Denmark surprised everone before at a Euro, something similar will surely happen this year again with some team.

Not big into sports myself and couldn't tell you who's on most teams so my motto is: Great matches whoever plays, may the best one win and will keep my fingers crossed for 2 teams just in case...yay

You're mixing with the wrong Dublin fans. Anyone here who posts on the GAA thread will tell you I was very bullish about Dublin all year.

As for the soccer team, since when is realism the same as ridicule? Do you honestly think QPR or Blackburn fans, no matter how devoted, were tipping their teams to win the premiership??
