Hi Everyone.

I got a interesting question.

Do you believe that there is a soul mate out there for each of us. Or do you think that there`s some people more suited for each other and work hard through there relationship. With Love, Trust and Communication.

I used to believe in soul mates for a long time until I asked myself the same thing as above.

I would love to see if anyone still believes in "The One", soul mate.

I thought I met my soulmate romance here in Norway, but we realised that friendship was the thing for us. Today she is my best friend, and we can talk about everything.

Now I found my soulmatelove here on CS and even if we haven't met yet, except via Skype, our connection is amazing. I've searched for someone to have a great dialogue with and now I've found it in her. That she lives 13.000 km from Norway isn't a problem that can't be solved.

But there could be several potential soulmates out there and it's not so much about common interests as to find the communication frequency that sets two souls in an intertwined connection. I mean how intense the communication is. For example, how soon you two reply too each other when you communicate. And to feel that there are flow in the communication that sets you both free...

Your soulmate is definitely out there somewhere but whether you find her in this lifetime is another thing .... "if you can't be with the one you want, be with the one you with".... but let it be precious always wine

For me a soul mate is someone with whom you have a connection beyond words and physical touch.

Sometimes even if you meet and even if you have a relationship AND even if the relatioship is no more (for whatever reason), THAT connection remains, BECAUSE it is beyond words AND physical touch.

Were I to meet again with a man with whom such connection exists, I believe I have learned enough about myself and humans, to be able to live such a relationship as a couple, without old patterns AND society/cultural/ self expectations and human flaws becoming a hurdle to simply enjoying every minute of it.

Some says…be in love with yourself first and you’ll attract your match
Some says…have the perfect picture in your mind of who you want to attract
Some says…it is destiny or in the laps of the gods
Some say…you only have so many potential soul mates
Some say…Cupidon and his little arrows
I say what you believe it is what you get

once again, outta the park..(grin)
i feel the same way in many respects.

i also think both of the OP's options are possible for creating joy. and perhaps, instead of measuring the joy, just experience it.

but, having said that....grin..oh no...

having experienced meeting someone where the connection goes far beyond words and the physical...it's like going home

I don't believe in that soulmate stuff. People are individuals that need to learn how to communicate with each other in order to secure a loving, honest and trusting relationship..

lotsa room for personal growth.

montemonte: "Soulmate" is a trendy word IMO.

As far as the rest of your reply, I think you're being sarcastic and for the life of me, I don't know why...

In my opinion/experience, soulmate is a spiritual experience which can´t be classed as a trend.

Many people only have a 2 dimentional experience : body + mind
Although it could make it difficult to understand/believe the concept of their existense, that doesn´t mean other dimensions don´t exist.
