'Glasgow' Rangers newco voted out of SPL. All first division clubs set to vote allowing them into that division...Looks like they'll be in the 3rd division. Can Scottish football survive at least 3 years of a one horse race?

Sigurdson to Spurs for over £8 million...over the top methinks...

Could we have a new betting record I was in Ladbrokes last week and Roger Federrer was two sets and change up. His in play odds were 750/1 on, what will Celtic's be for the next SPL season, I reckon they will scrap the to win book and make it a by how much book.

I have no sympathy for Rangers at all, they cheated for years and finally they got caught, but I do see it as the end of Scottish football as we know it, as you say it's a one horse race and there's no one any where
near Celtic.

Sigurdsson, over rated, over priced. Liverpool aren't too happy though
but then Liverpool haven't been happy for some time now.

Yeah I'll be interested to hear how the vote went...Can't see them filling Celtic Park for a season of meaningless matches, or TV companies paying too much for the rights to an uncompetitive league...

Sorry I forgot you don't do sympathy. tongue

Sky certainly wont want the rights to the SPL this season,
It's a disaster for football for the fans and for the media.

The next big rivalry is Hearts, i wouldn't be surprised if there was a big investment in them and they became a big club in Scotland!!

Can't really see that happening either, no body would invest in Rangers,

no body wants to invest in the Scottish league. It really is a disaster

for Scottish football.

Well if you add the number of cups and leagues YOUR crowd were given

Then tell me if it's half way or any where near the titles Rovers have

won.

Now tell me are you capable of doing that or will I do it for you. laugh

Robin Van Persie looks set to leave Arsenal after confirming he will not sign a new contract with the Gunners. The Dutch striker — who has one year left on his current deal — took to his website to end speculation over his future.

He's saying he had a conversation with Wenger and disagreed on how the club should move forward...interesting

Man City will be on Red Alert for Van Persie/. I can see them doing a deal to buy him. Andre Villas Boas wants to strengthen the Spurs Squad. As a Spurs fan and proud of it. I am not too keen on Villas Boas. He has one Season to prove to me he is a decent Manager.

Rangers are in the pits anway. Scottish Football is in terminal decline I think.

I wonder is a ploy to get more money out of Arsenal,
like the Wayne Rooney saga.
City don't need him they have more than enough strikers already.
Can't see him going to any other Premiership side.
Barca and Madrid don't want him, the only other team interested in him
is Juventus, and that would be a come down for him.
