I know perfection is impossible to find, but I want as close as I can get to it. I refuse to go on a date just for the sake of it, I don't see the point

i have gone from a 1 to 10
cant really say.
I dont think its being fussy.
I have dated someone who for all intents and purposes was a really great guy, probably marriage material......yet I just wasnt attracted to him, try as I might. Made me realise I wasn't prepared to settle.
I had a great conversation once with someone who asked me about compromises.....what I would be prepared to compromise on and what was definitely not up for discussion. They even got me to write it down. I probably amazed myself at what I was prepared to compromise on in the short term or long term. But equally it re-affirmed exactly what was non-negiotiable to me.
