Hi Lee.. You know something, I just got back from an exciting tour of duty last Friday night. There was a time when myfriends and I had an outbond. My team won three of all five games played. You know why? Every one in the team was kind enough to let go our "being-a-leader" ego..

No offense, but can I ask you something?
I never knew Jeepers, from the Forums or from real life, but I understand that he passed away from cancer, like so many other´s...
Are you actually feeding on his horrible illness&death,by posting some old threads by him, just to get attention?
Again,no offense, but it´s very, very tasteless to me,-since I know cancer very well,-almost my entire family has been swept away with it,-and I would never tolerate that someone unknown spoke on the behalf of their disaster......
Since you seem to care so much, have you´ve ever contacted his family,to bring on your grief?
each to their own eh...those of us who did have the good fortune to meet him through the forums are quite happy to keep his memory alive an share thoughts and memories that we have of him..his FB profile is still up too where we share the same with his friends/family ..

Nobody is feeding on anything, AtwoZ, everyone is just remembering Jeepers very fondly. And yes, people have contacted his friends, sent flowers to his funeral and donated to cancer charities in his name.
Now please, refrain from posting here further, this thread is not for you since you didn't even know him.

Well, it's hard to be sure if family members know that we're all members of a dating site - I certainly haven't told anyone in my family, they'd give me funny looks and have me exorcised. It's just prudent to be careful who to contact.

Hello Saviour...
Buddy was a great friend to everyone... He shared his life with very many of us... and found great strength with very many people here on CS.
He lived on St Thomas in the Virgin Islands... and shared hundreds of pics and videos of the island... so much so... that If I see a pic on the web... and its of St Thomas.. I can recognise it..
Furthermore.. the learning experience of the flora and fauna of the island was a bonus...
He derived strength in lieu of family from here and fb.. eg his 'quit smoking' thread... We got to meet him by social media cam.. and of course his little dog..
This wonderful man... shared so much of himself in the nicest way.. not least bring everyone together with the photo comp... which was brilliant... and yes.. I participated weekly..
So.. I am trying to explain why Buddy was such a integral part of many of our lives...and because the photo comp was a weekly one.. each week we would email our pics.. and write a little about what was happening.
When Buddy became ill... he told us.. but did not make a right todo over it... and it was not til the end ... when he was not able to continue with the comp.
Buddy was the sunshine smiles.. the beautiful pic person.. the dog and animal lover... the hummingbird lover... the cats of St Thomas lover.. and lover of mankind...
Its not a secret that we all loved him back...Men included..
So, now that hopefully I have painted a picture of why we remember Buddy... perhaps you will understand... that every mention of this person... makes us smile and happy ... because he left a legacy of love...
