So don't give up yet, go out and enjoy yourself, love can be found in lots of different places, just keep an open mind.

you're still very young, you have plenty of time to find your prince charming, while you're waiting get out and enjoy your self, if you look too hard, you will never find it, it will hit you when you least expect it. Good luck.

You just told us that you have been playing the role of a "friend with benefits" to an engaged man - if you do not start looking out for yourself soon and keep letting yourself be used by such a scoundrel, you will never have a stable relationship!
Now stop moaning, get rid of that "friend" of yours and find a nice guy, who loves you.

Seasons precious poppet. Sunshine follows the rain.When the weather doesn't allow me to go outside, I turn my mind to things I can do inside. At the moment I am convalescing from a shoulder and knee operation that the winter weather is delaying my recovery. I can choose to be miserable or I can write, design, read that book I've always said I must read. I could learn a new language or skill that may be helpful in my next relationship. I know these things don't diminish the aloneness feelings but achieving little "other" goals will help keep you smiling even when you may be sad on the inside. Who knows your partner may be in a self help class you join?
