I have a small patch of Lettuce wich is invaded by Slugs .

I dont like to kill them as im into recycling to save the Plannet.

I collect the slugs and feed them to my Chickens ,i dont feel this to be cruel as its just natural in the food chain .

Only thing is when my Chickens lay Eggs , i usualy have 1 or 2 for Breakfast , and now find when i put a bit of Salt on the Eggs they Bubble Up and Explode on the Plate .

Any Advice Please .

Or better still teach the slugs how to run so they can run the fans in the coup to keep the chickens from being depressed and getting back at you.
