I did my test in London, and I had learnt to drive "unofficial," for a long while before taking my test, but I took a few proper lessons before doing the test, and while was well able to drive, I also well able for all the bad habits I had picked up, which the instructor pointed out would have resulted in me failing a test.

pedro27: i am doing my driving test for a full drivers licence, there is 700euro in the difference insurence wise if i pass and then i could go for a bigger and better car
,, i have done the test 3 times and failed, but this time i'm getting lessons, down in wicklow ,where the test centre is, how many times did ya's fail b4 ya passed and any tips?

I passed first time in Naas, only did one pre test/lesson in my life and that was the day before the test, i honestly thought i was going to fail because i had so many bad habits so i went into the test with that attitude and it was a piece of piss, i hadn't a worry in the world because i thought i was going to fail, one more mark and i would have...so the best thing to do is go in with the attitude that you'll fail and you should find it pretty easy and a lot more relaxing!! thumbs up
