Flu Shot May Be GIVING People the Flu! (6)

Three years ago, a Canadian research team noticed that people who received a flu shot were more likely to become infected with the pandemic H1N1 virus than those who hadn’t received a shot. Five follow-up studies were done in several provinces, with the same disturbing results.
Now a new double-blind study led by an influenza expert at the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control has recreated the event using ferrets. The ferrets in the vaccine group became significantly sicker than the other animals.
No one is entirely sure why this is, though it does not appear to have been a problem with the flu vaccine used in Canada. So not only do we have to worry about the side effects of the flu vaccine, it now seems to be exacerbating the very illness it’s supposed to prevent.
This is not the first time a flu drug turned out to be ineffective, making people potentially more vulnerable to the flu. Roche Pharmaceuticals was accused of withholding data about its Tamiflu pill—data that suggested not only was the drug not as effective as it had been reported, it actually appeared to be no more effective than aspirin. It also appears to interfere with the body’s own ability to create antibodies to the flu virus, which is important to fight off future infections.
Yet Tamiflu was stockpiled by various world governments during the swine flu pandemic. The UK had contracts in place for 50 million doses of Tamiflu, enough for 80% of population, while the US had stockpiled over 37 million doses. The cost to US taxpayers was $1.5 billion.
For Big Pharma, the next pandemic is nothing more than an opportunity to make more money—at the expense of our pocketbooks, our health, and sometimes even our lives. Remember that the US flu shot—unlike the one given in Europe—still contains mercury, which is another important reason to avoid it.
Better yet, go for the far more effective natural cures. Vitamin D is extremely effective in combating influenza. The treatments we mentioned in our TB article in this issue would also apply to the flu.

I've been taken the flu shot since 2007, so far I haven't got sick after the shot...I just had another one a week ago, no problem at all.

Thanks for the information.Perhaps a very good healthy diet,excersise,less stress,more rest,relaxation,and avoidance of alcohol/smoking,is the best thing we can do for ourselves in this respect.Seems like avoiding illness comes with it's own set of complications.

The high mutagenicity of virus, especially virus of influenza A causes that vaccinations aren't 100% effective. The vaccination can alleviate any symptoms of influenza and in large extent it prevents complication.
Very important : The vaccination doesn't protect against the common cold.

The vast majority of people who are given the flu vaccine here in the UK are the ones who are most at risk from catching flu anyway, so the findings are probably true..The shot we are given is a dead virus.. I take a zinc and vitamin c supplement every day through winter, very rarely do I catch a cold...(unless I stop taking them.)
