Roy is ok TC2. Liverpool were in a mess when he took the reins. It'll take two yrs to fix (in the short term). I think when the new owners took over l'pool were 49million in debt and 35 million was a direct result of Hicks.

Once he get's the players he wants to play in the system that he wants and if it fails THEN and only THEN is it ok to judge him, at the moment he's inherited a squad of over paid underachievers that believed their own hype when they signed for crazy money...Rodgers also got let down badly in the transfer window when the owners allowed the loan move for Carroll and then couldn't stump up an extra 3 million for Dempsey...
The next 3-4 seasons are write offs, the sooner Liverpool fans realise that the better and stop expecting a quick fix to a problem that's been going for about 5 seasons now...there is no quick fix, we're not a top 4 club anymore and won't be until people get behind the club and what they're trying to do!!

I reckon L'pool will be force to be reckoned with from next season onwards. I've no doubt in that. He'll keep blooding the young players who want to play in front of the kop for the pride of the club. Watch this space.

Well that was one of the reasons they appointed him, his youth development skills, i just want to see Liverpool progressing, it's going to be a slow process but once progress is happening then i'll be a happy man!!

I follow my local team in Belfast (Clifonville)..
I reckon Liverpool are finally on the right track. Even the recent results can't be laid at Rodgers door.

It was a cup game, we hadn't a full squad out, Henderson was playing right full, Joe Cole center midfield and with Reina injured there's no organisation whatsoever at the back...look at the squad we have, probably the worst Liverpool squad since i've been a fan (as long as i can remember) not to mention the shortest in terms of strikers and defenders..

Thats right I did. I've read kenny's posts on the subject of the o6c. I also came very close to banning you.
I banned him becasue I rightly believed then as now he wouldn't have offered anything to the thread. At least not constructive.

I agree sofar...They wont always get away with giving the opposition a two goal lead. Fergie should get rid of Wellbeck. or try him as a winger. He's not an out and out attacker/goal scorer. He should play the little pea up front with Van Persie and play Rooney more as an attacking midfielder. He (Rooney) is a natual to take over the helm once Scholes retires for good.
