Make the first moves.... write to chicks.... some will write back, some won't. Some will play with you and some will be genuine. Start out looking for friends, and write to people you normally wouldn't. You might grow and change from this experience. I have.
Just like marketing..... you gotta advertise, and cold call. You will be surprised just who you will meet and who will respond. Always look for someone with more than 1 photo. Look for what they are looking for as well. If they hit on you and you are not what they say they are looking for, then be careful of the potential for them to be a scammer.
I've met some really lovely ladies on here. I'm getting on really well with one and we talk every day. And I'm really good friends with another and we write often as well.
It can and does happen through this medium, you just gotta keep on putting it out there....

Unfortuantely the internet is a good place for scammers to hange out.You never know who you can trust anymore.Unless of course you were to meet them at a get together kinda thing.
I know there are some nice people on CS you just need to be willing to spend some time here weeding through the undesirable.
